It doesnt matter how many ? you get It is determined on level questions like got one wrong next one will be easier if you got it right it will be harder till the test determines you are knowlegable iin that subject the whole test is like that I knew a few people got 75 questions and they passed.so just relax

I feel the same way. I took the NCLEX RN after 2 or 3 months of studying out of 7 books. When I sat for the exam, i did not recognize a lot of the questions. I think I took all 265 or maybe it was 260...don't even remember that. I think I will take KAPLAN next time.
I hope I don't have to take it a second or third time because a job in AZ is waiting for me and I am broke.

People need to stop studying content in order to sit for the NCLEX. The time to study content ended when you finished school. If you want to study something, study HOW to read and answer the questions, and take lots of practice questions.
Anyway - the number of questions doesn't mean anything. It's just another little fun thing to mess with your brain. Pretty much sums up all of nursing school, doesn't it?
Best of luck to everyone who just took or is scheduled to take their exam. It surely is nerve wracking!
Isn't the maximum cut off for RNs 265?
The chances are good that you did pass, but you will not know that until you get the results. We've had so many people come on here all freaked out because they got booted out after 75, so that must mean they failed, right? And then there are the ones who are positive they failed because they had to answer all 250 questions. Either way, you won't know until you get the results. Ahhhh, for the good ol' days........
