Nclex Results, Questions!!!

Ok, I took my nclex this past thursday (1/17/08) and now am waiting to get my results...i took 75 questions, and am freaking out! Does anyone know anyone who didnt pass at 75 questions?? everyone keeps saying "oh you only took 75 questions, you passed!" but im skeptical!! ALso, in mississippi you can find out on the state website like, 2 days later, but here it is sunday night, and nothing! with tomorrow (1-21-08) being a holiday, so you think they will post results anyway?? help!

They may there again they may not. Very hard to predict whether you have passed or not. People do pass with 75 the same as the ones who fail, normal reaction to feel as though you have failed or did bad on the test. All you can do and I know it is easier said than done but wait for your results

I was thinking that you pass when you get 75 Q as i got 75 till somebody told me that you can fail even with 75.But you know what,Hope for the best cos you passed.Goodluck.Azor

Who knows if you passed or not? I'm sure you did fine, but you'll only know for sure when the results come in. The majority of people pass the NCLEX.

So until the results come in, just relax and enjoy the fact that it's over!! Go do something fun.

If you do some more reading on these forums, you will see that there are those that post that they have not passed with 75, and those that post that have passed with 265.

The number of questions has no bearing on determining results.

State websites do not usually post exactly at two days later as they are posted by humans and BON staff do not work 24/7, and they are off weekends, as well as holidays. So it can fluctuate.

If your state participates in Quick Results with Pearson-Vue, then results are up there 48 hours after testing, on weekends and holidays as that is completely computerized.

Nope...my state doesnt participate in quick results! It is so wrong! the way it works here in MS...if for instance you take your test on Tuesday, you have the results on the BON website at 12:01 am Thursday, and if you take it wednesday, you have the results 12:01 am friday....so who knows, im just praying that with #1, i took it on a thursday and they dont post on weekends, and #2, today being a holiday, that is the reason no results have come up! ugh! PRAY! =)
