NCLEX for the 3rd time Thursday

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH....I prayed for you....I am so happy for you...you deserve it....I hope to be the next....what do you think you did different? and did you have feelings like you were never going to pass this thing...did you do 300 questions and day? for how long? I need detail, please....I am so happy for you....yeahhhhhhh

I think the difference for me was the NCBSN review. I tried to do that almost every night for at least two hours, then the NCLEX made incredibly easy book. I never got around to doing the cd rom pack I bought. I never wrote in the book and the cd rom is still unopened I can send them both to you if you want them. I loved the book because the answers were on the other side of the page so no flipping back and forth. I did the 15 weeks of NCBSN course. I don't know how many Q's a day. I would do it mostly until I couldn't take it anymore. My 8 month old just started sleeping through the night so I was sooo sleep deprived. I would study a total of about 4hours a night when I could. Thanks so much for the prayers I really felt peaceful that morning. I did think I was never going to pass, but I would never have given up. When I looked at my results I was 95% sure I failed, but I knew I had gotten better just based on the fact that I made it to 225? I just can't say enough about that course. Although I have to give all the credit to God, I asked him to give me Q's that I knew about. I really believe he answered that prayer. That test is so hard you just can't know everything about every disease, drug, and procedure. Anyway sorry for rambling you CAN do this. Keep me posted and let me know if you want that stuff, that review book was great, hard questions.

Thanks for all the good advice....I have that book you are referring too...I had taken the ncbsn before i took the last test, I dont think I really utilized it...I did print out all the lectures though...I think I will go back over them all and use the books that I have and hope for the best....my problem is that I work long hours and have two little active girls...I need to buckle down....thanks for everything...how does it feel, RN behind your name now...I am so happy for you....congrats again!

oh, BTW, what were the numbers on the prior test..cause you made a comment that you at least got to 225?...

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. I made it to 225? At least it didn't make a decision at 75 this time. That test is sooooo hard and I have been studying for almost a year. I really hate those check all that apply Q's. I will know Sat. Congrats Rikomama!! Nursy2b It will happen for you, you sure have a LOT on your plate! I don't know how you have time to do anything. I have three kids between 8 mo and 6 years, no job, and a husband...and I can't even get my house clean. I will post again on Sat...Thanks again ya'll

I also have a 15 month old daughter, who is just so active. So, I know how difficult to make time for youself (Even though I have only one...and you have two..) You deserve nice party Sunday tomorrow! I am so happy for you.

I have to agree with this I took the course it was a great help and well worth the money also used the NCLEX made incredibly simple

To answer Nursy, My prior test #'s were 101 the first time, and I did worse the second time with 75.

Thanks so much ya'll I never thought I would get to have my hat party!!
