Just took my 3rd time nclex, first time ran out time on 214 and fail, 2nd get blocked that i could not even remember what i had on the exam, but this time i was so determinated to pass bc is my dream studied hard getting good scores on kaplan and hesi but when i get there everything was fine getting a lot of hard question SATas and exhibit priority etc so i was hard and i feel good because felt like i was doing good until get on my 45 question that a I got Migraine and on 60 start vomiting!! i tried on whatever to finish i just though that it will stop on 75 but i didnt and i could not stop vomiting but start trying to finish my exam but i keeps going with hard questions and time ran out on 174.

Did PVT on Thursday and it was saying that results are in hold! next day check on BON since here normally they put it next day morning but "waiting for score" was there so i wait but now is Saturday and still Waiting for the score.... do you think i have any hope of pass??? i keep praying! have anyone has a similar experience with the results???

Really until you get your results there isn't much you can do. They may be on hold due to you being ill

I am guessing that if you were vomiting, you had to keep leaving the room. Therefore they are going to need to check videos, etc to be sure there was not a security violation or something that would indicate possible cheating. If they have to review all of that, it takes time, so results go on hold. Once they complete the review they will release results. I think I read on here that holds last up to 72 hours (I may be wrong though--and I don't know if they work on those reviews on weekends). I do know that being on hold is not an indication of either passing or failing.

Best of luck!

Thank you very much for your response!

i hope pass! :)

As has been said, the reason for your exam results being on Hold is likely because of whatever disturbance was created during the time you were sick. Holds typically take 24-72 hours; recently there was a report of it being about six days. Depends, apparently, on who is reviewing, when it happened, and what the infraction was perceived to be.

With any luck, you will have passed this time. I hope so....honestly otherwise, you'd have to change your UserID (can't have RN in the name if you're not one), but for the time being it isn't the end of the world.

We can't have a clue how you did, whether or not you passed the exam, all we can do is wish you luck....and, perhaps, suggest that you look into doing something to help control that anxiety? If it's debilitating to THIS degree....you really, REALLY should talk to a professional about that. Medication, behavior modification...SOMETHING. You cannot leave work in the middle of a shift because of stress or anxiety. You cannot get yourself worked up to the point of vomiting and expect the job to work out well. Just....can't.

When you get your results, you will either be upset because you failed or celebrating because you passed, but in any event I hope you follow up on that suggestion.

Good luck!

When you said you kept vomiting, did you have to leave the room repeatedly to vomit? Did you vomit in the testing room? If you had to keep leaving the room because you were vomiting, they are required to complete an incident report. That will cause your exam to be on hold. They have to review video footage of you taking the exam to be sure no violations occurred. (Not saying you cheated, but they have to be sure before releasing your results)

ETA: you need to remove "RN" from your name until you actually pass NCLEX, per TOS of this board.

Yes i had to leave a couple of times they know what was happening idk if they made the incident report ... Thanks!

So has to be that why they keep my results
