Hello,
i have taken the NCLEX friday May 4, 2018. Its sunday now (over 24 hours already) i tried PVT but says its in hold. I have been reading some of the thread about accuracy of the pvt after 24 hours getting a pop up wether its good or bad. Mine is different which is on hold so at this point I am not sure where I stand. I have less 10 hours to complete their 48 hours timeframe for quick result. My anxiety and the waiting is just killing me.

On hold simply means that there was some inconsistency in your exam... it could be something minor such as taking the exam too quickly, hand scanner not functioning as expected, etc or it could be a major rule violation - using a cell phone prior to the end of the exam... Most seem to be cleared up fairly quickly..
I hate to add to your stress level, but until the hold is cleared there will be no quick results posted.... as well as your bio states that you are from CA.. if you registered with the CA BON, they do not offer any quick results to California candidates.
Best of luck.
Hi Thanks for replying.. i took the test in CA but my state is actually in Hawaii. They offer quick result. I'm still keeping my fingers cross thinking that if i have failed they should have not bother holding my result and let me go through the re-registration process and take my money..

Sorry your dealing with this! Waiting for the results is stressful enough, but then finding out your results are on hold probably just adds to the stress!! You took the test, did your best, now all you can do is wait. I know its easier said than done, but just take a deep breath, and go out and do something fun for yourself! You deserve it! You finished nursing school and you took the NCLEX. Now just do stuff to put it out of your mind, and before you know it you will find out the results! That's all you can really do!
On a side note, you took the test in Ca but your state is Hawaii. Ca does not offer quick results. So, if you took the test in Ca, but your state is Hawaii, you are eligible for quick results? I would think since you took the test in Ca, then the rules for Ca apply, which means no quick results?
It has been technically 48 hours already and still showing up not available for quick result and on hold when I do the pvt. I live Los Angeles eversince we migrated. I have never been to Hawaii my life. I took my Nursing in the Philipines and graduated 2012. For some odd reason I can't practice Nursing in California and this happens to the other ones that had graduated 2009-2014 (not sure if I have the exact timeframe).
I have been trying to calm myself. Its just that my mind wanders back on doing the PVT. At this point I will just leave everything to God and to Pearson vue. You are right I can't do anything but to wait. I am hoping and praying for positive result. Thank you!

Hi I think we met on testing center. I waited till Tuesday morning. It was on hold and changed to our "records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made this time" after 48 hrs without counting the weekend. Did you get your results?
not yet. I just took it today, it still says results on hold.
I took mine May 4th. Wait at least 24 hrs to do the trick. I'm also waiting for the results.
Any updates? The PVT worked for me. I just got my congratulatory letter today and paid for my license fee through breeze. Good luck!
PVT changed from on hold to the good pop up. but No confirmations yet.
