Don't panic because most of the time 85 question is good, six of my friends shut off at 85 and they all passed. Good luck though, let us know when you get your result.

Not to worry, you can pass or fail at any number, the odds are in your favor, wishing you the very best

Statistically odds are definitely in your favor. Most people usually pass than fail at the minimum. Best of luck with your results!

I'll go a step further and tell you that most people pass, period. People get too hung up on the numbers. If you're a first-time, US-educated candidate, your odds are ~85%.

85% pass rate for US taught student? Does that figure have blonds equated into it? Hope so :uhoh3:

I guess blonds are factored into that 85% pass rate! I passed!

I sure wish I could find out how many I got right. The test stopped at the minimum 85 questions.

Now I need to find a job:Snow:

I took the NCLEX-VN a week ago. It stopped at 100 and until now I have not received any info. I was told that it can take up to 4 weeks in California. My problem is, I have a felony conviction and last Wednesday I received a letter from BVNPT and was requesting a letter of detailed circumstances of what happened leading to the conviction. Does this mean I pass the test since they are moving forward with my application? Does anyone had this experience that is willing to share to shed some light? I've been worried sick and I'm seeing my pimples that I haven't seen since high school. Thanks.

All get 50% correct and 50% incorrect. The level at which you are answering questions correctly decides your fate on the exam. It is not graded like you were in school.

The NCLEX-PN results are never posted in CA, you will get a letter in the mail in about four weeks after testing..........this goes for all that take that exam for CA licensure. If you pass the exam, then they tell you to pay the $100 fee for the license. Nice thing is that they do not make you pay until you pass, all other states require you to pay for the license before they will permit you to test.

HI! I was trying to reply to your other post, (re: Criminal Background), but the thread was closed... I am wondering, whatever happened with all of that? I ask because I am in the same situation. I'm still in school, and have not yet had my background check. PLease update me, for I am really stressed about my situation as well. Your post might as well been written by me-I mean same situation!! I looked into expungement, however, the wait is now 10 years!! I look fwd. to your response...
