i really think i failed... i did really good during the nursing program... used a few review books, but i dont think they helped at all... it felt like i was guessing all throughout nclex and that i wasn't using anything i learned from school nor from all the review books i used...
my nclex consisted of questions that were random meaning that the previous questions did not come from the same system/subject as the one after it (i was told that if you get it right then next question would come from the same subject but it will be harder and vice versa) my test wasn't like that.. got lots of SATA also, few, lots of prioritization and delegation.. anyone had the same experience and passed?
Same scenerio for me. I took the test aug 31 and was considered of all sata which werethe same topic back to back andsome not which I didn't know what to feel at the moment. I also had alot of delegation and prioritization few drugs and math and 1 put in order. My computer shut down at 87 or 88. Up until now I feel I failed the exam. Still feeling depressed time to time and can't help but think about the exam. I'm in ca so I won't find out till 6 weeks I thinks... I hate this feeling bc those sata queations threw me off.. All I can hope for is the best if I pass I'll be happy if I failed I know I gotta prepare twice as hard! Good luck!
Did the questions get progressively harder? I was under the impression that it was only if you got a question wrong did it immediately give you another question on the same subject. If you get it right it will give you a harder question but a different subject since you've proven you knew the other one.
This is the way it was explained to me by my reviewer who also happens to write some of the test questions.
Think of it this way regardless of how many questions you got the overall nationwide pass rate is about 85% so you only have a 15% chance of failing
To be honest with you I mustve used all my brain cells from that test...beginning of the test was easy then it got harder and harder when those Sata quest cAme back to back..Satas are my weakest link and I mustve had more than 20. Some were of the same topic and some weren't.. That's why I really felt like I failed. Some of my instructors said it goes 50/50 pass or fail! I've heard about the pearsonvue trick but I don't want to believe it bc all the postings I've read were those who passed...it's been offically 3 weeks and still haven't gotten my results.. I rather wait for the hard copy than trust in that trick..

hey. i think you have to try the PVT. there are also some post of those who failed bc they went all the way to the CC page. it could lessen your anxiety if you do it and get the magic pop-up and if you don't you'll have more time now to compose yourself and study again. that's what others did when they got the CC page. btw, did you take PN or RN? I took my RN on sept8 here in CA got my results via website just this morning.
