NCLEX-PN Level of difficulty in comparison to your study book.

Due to take my NCLEX-PN pretty soon and I'm just curious how difficult it was in comparison to the questions in your study book. It seems that every study book is different and some books are easier/harder than others.

So, which book did you use to study for the NCLEX and how did the questions in the book compare to the questions on the exam?

(I have a theory that most NCLEX books are more difficult than the actual exam....)

I used NCSBN online review and I was scoring anywhere bwten 50-75% I passed at 75.

I used Saunders and thought it was harder than my NCLEX exam. Good luck.

I'm using Saunders as my review guide. Hoping to take the test as soon as I get my ATT. Will let you know how things turn out!

Saunders. It prepared me very well. Passed with the minimum for the PN, 85.

lots of delegation question for me on my LPN NCLEX, I also used Saunders and it stoped at the minimum of 85 question (LPN, 75 for RN). Good luck!

Hi! im a graduating student and will be taking the NLE this june. i am currently enrolled on one of the review centers here in the philippines. i would just like to ask if uou think it is advisable for me to start suzanne's guide for NCLEX as early as now? i guess, that would make me more confident to pass my NLE at the same time be able to review for NCLEX as early as possible... Well, I took the NCLEX and passed with the minimal questions. Lots of questions in my weak areas - maternity, growth and development, and meds I'd never heard of - but that's the CAT for you. Targeting your personal weak areas.

Also had a lot of priority questions, and some random diagnostic test questions, and repositioning of clients after procedures etc

Started a new job at a sub-acute center, just got off orientation, things are going well. Onto RN!
