to all NCLEX passers; whats your NLE scores?

Published

your general average in the 5 areas ( nle )

if you know your individual grades per test ( test 1, 2 etc ) that would be better.

tnx guys:yeah:

81%.................:nurse:

The NLE exam is completely different from the NCLEX exam and the score that one got on the NLE has no bearing whatsoever on how one will do with the NCLEX exam.

There is absolutely no corrolation between the two and they actually require separate preparation as well.

i dont understand why are you asking for the ratings in NLE of those NCLEX passers? i now someone who had a high average in NLE but failed the nclex and the other way.. your score in NLE ha no bearing on your nclex.both have different approach in assessing the comprehension of students. nclex has computer adaptive test. nle, questions are already fixed.

i believe that there is a correlation... the preparation is not that different because for both my NLE, CGFNS and NCLEX i read the same references...

The higher your score for your NLE, the better are your chances in passing the CGFNS and NCLEX...

Of course if you get a low score in the NLE it doesn't also mean that you're not going to pass the NCLEX but you may have to work harder...

hi taimanov, mine's 83%. but i agree whih what they've said, i don't think that if one got a high score in the NLE it means that he or she would pass the NCLEX. i have yet to take the latter as i have just submitted my application last week but hopefully i'd also pass the NCLEX.

God bless us all! ;)

I only got 78.8% in NLE, but guess what? i passed Nclex-rn at 75 questions. amazing is in it? LOL. its true, NLE is much different to NCLEX, which I prefered easier to pass!!! You know that US students who finished thier 2 year in nursing program can sit in NCLEX? here in the Philippines. they require us to finish 4 year nursing course and pass the NLE before sitting to NCLEX.

ergo, take the chances in exams.... goodluck

Were on the same boat.. *rofl 78.8% on NLE and my computer shut off fairly close to 75, coz i really didn't bother to look at the number I am at. And yes NCLEX is way easier than NLE.

well mine is also low 77%, that is before the retake of test III and V. My scores in the said retake are higher now but I think it will not add up to my June 2006 result.

I took NCLEX October 2007 and my computer shut down in item 75!

The two exam are incomparable. In NLE you have to guess most of the time.... hehe but in NCLEX you really have to use your brain and analyze. Although the preparations are almost the same except of course for community chuva..

So if I were you don't rely on your NLE scores, if you have a good foundation in MS, Pedia, Maternal, Psych and all you are likely to have a positive result in NCLEX. :heartbeat

i took the NLE last june 2007 & i scored 78.2%..oohhh..quite low actually.

Test I - 80

Test II- 79

Test III-78

Test IV-78

Test V -76

i passed NCLEX at 265 on my first take last May 2008.

i agree with all the other members who replied in this thread for i also had separate preparations for each exam, but basic nursing knowledge and principles should really be mastered except for some particular topics that are way different from each exam.

hi!! u dont have to worry about your grade in nle.... im a june 2006 passer with an average of 75.00% in all tests (test 1-5) , i even failed the special retake..:banghead: but i passed my nclex.. i stopped at 265, by the way.:nurse:.. hmmm..its all about luck..... so

this time il waive my local license and will retake the nle this coming november.....

....prayer is the only answer to your questions... you can be too good in both exams but

if you dont ask god's help, u will really fail......:saint:

good luck on our upcoming exams!!!
