your general average in the 5 areas ( nle )

if you know your individual grades per test ( test 1, 2 etc ) that would be better.

tnx guys:yeah:

I got an 81.6% in my NLE, 445 score in my CGFNS and stopped at question 77 in my recent NCLEX exam which passing rate has just been raised to 0.7.

81% - Nle

I got an average of 82% on my local NLE this June 08. I passed the NCLEX-RN at 75. Wohooooooo Thank God. . . Just a matter of studying and praying hard. God Bless all pinoy nurses.

If you took the nle last june, how could you apply for NCLEX in short time? What state you applied for the exam? My friend is applying for nclex but the requirements are still insufficient. Please give me advise.

i agree tha NLE and NCLEX are very different but as I have observed MOST people i know(just observing my fellow batchmates)who got a high rating at their NLE passed NCLEX on their first try...Majority of my batch got a general average of 80% and up on their NLE..I got a general average of 85.40% on my local exam (scores ranging from 80-92%) and i passed NCLEX on my first try with 75 qs..Now, i dont know if there is a correlation between these two exams. I guess the bottom line here is that you have a good grasp on the basic nursing concepts, critical thinking and test taking skills...

NLE i think is more like the CGFNS, more content based, while NCLEX is more of analysis & critical thinking... i took the NLE last december 2007 after graduating on oct, i had barely a month of review, if it cud be counted as one, but i got a overall of 84.4 and i took the nclex just recently, passed with 75 questions in 45 mins.

84%...however i dont believe that the average you got in the NLE will be a determining factor whether you could pass the NCLEX or not. I have lots of friends who have a low average in the NLE yet passed the NCLEX on their first try. It all depends on the person...

Yup I did pass it, what i did was after graduating i passed all the necessary documents and requirements so while waiting for the JUNE NLE my papers were being assessed already. So after submitting it i followed up on the 5th week, they told me that i was still missing a nursing license from the Philippines. Atleast my papers was there already and was just matter of completing it which is ofcourse passing NLE which i did. Prior to leaving Phils. I did take IELTS as well so it was a good thing, i left Phils. July 25 i got all my results before flying here. After i got the certificate of passing from Phils. The Cali BON gave me my eligibility and ATT was fast. Less than 15 mins i got it thru my e-mail. Took the NCLEX at Anaheim, near the Angels Stadium. Thank God i did pass it. :yeah:

I think there is no exact correlation between the the NCLEX and NLE...I knew a lot of people who have high averages in the NLE but flunked the NCLEX.

The NCLEX is more accurate in gauging the knowledge of the examinee because it customizes the exam questions for the examinee through critical tinking questions...the NLE is just a pen and paper exam and thus fixed.

I have to admit, NLE made a big difference to my performance in my NCLEX. Passing NLE with a high average would definitely boost up your confidence. So if you passed NLE with flying colors then there is no reason for you to not have a higher chances of passing the NCLEX RN. But like what you guys said, some NLE passers failed the NCLEX and vice versa. So it all depends on the person whos taking the exam. . . But if you ask me. . . I guess its all about knowledge, understanding and ofcourse confidence, . . . ORA et LABORA. God Bless all Pinoy RNs

There will always be a corelation. Whether it's highly proportionally corelated or inversely proportional, is the question! I got 83 in the NLE but I haven't sat for the NCLEX yet.

general average 85, passed the NCLEX-RN at 75.:yeah::yeah::yeah:
