I just took it. 75 Questions. I don't feel like there was one question where I was like, "I Know this!!!" I felt like I was at best giving slightly educated guesses. Every question was so hard and obscure. I was a good student in school, did ALL of the Kaplan review (which was over 2000 practice questions when it was said and done) which indicated I was more than ready.
I just feel like crying now and I wanted to cry while I was taking that test. There were questions with 4 right answers and drugs and diseases I have NEVER EVEN HEARD of ever!
The only thing that gives me hope is that since I got no what seemed to be easy questions, that I answered enough difficult ones correctly and that's why it shut off at 75.
Interestingly, I had not one singe math question, nor put in the correct order question.
Well hopefully I find out Monday or Tuesday...
I just took my nclex pn exam this morning and am soo nervous. I really feel like I didn't know much of it, and it shut off after 85 questions. I went to RN school and did well all through the program but I didn't pass the HESI test, so I couldn't take the RN boards, which is why I decided to take the PN exam. I was wondering if there's anyone else who didn't pass the HESI but ended up passing the nclex?
Oh man, I just took it this morning, and got shut off at 75... I'm feeling queasy while I'm waiting for pearsonvue to update my delivery status.
I also had the repeated situation format... asked me 3 questions about the exact same thing, and that really made me paranoid But at least I got 8 or so SATA questions so that comforts me a little big.
Hate how it takes so long to find out the results for CA
45 days??? Wow that is ridiculous!!!
In what way is it ridiculous? The reason for the delay in sitting the exam and some states make you wait 90 days is so that you will get different questions as the pool of questions are changed regularly and less likely of people cheating with questions

Yes, I know exactly how stressed you are. I took my NCLEX RN on 7-14, and just knew that I had felt. I did the PV trick and today I am a REGISTERED NURSE. I PASSED
