NCLEX October 2017

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello fellow NCLEX takers ... I wanted to start a chat for everyone taking the NCLEX in October ... let's motivate each other. When you need a pick me upper let's check up on each other. What are you using to prepare for the NCLEX? What date in October are you taking the NCLEX? Are you taking NCLEX PN or NCLEX RN?

I'll start with me. My name is Nadia and I'll be taking the NCLEX PN on October 13th. This will be my fourth time to take the NCLEX ... the last time I took the NCLEX was in 2008. I had to take a required refresher course in Florida in order to be eligible to sit for the exam again ... I did that and also did clinical which I absolutely love because I didn't get the same experience when I was in school. I have been using Saunders, just recently completed the Hurst Live Review (which I absolutely loved) and I will be purchasing U World. I've learned so much in the past year and so motivated to start my career. I do work a full time and I am a Team Lead so I have a hectic day almost every singe day. I have no choice but to make time when I get off to study from 7pm until I get tired and that may be 11 pm or 12 am. If I'm too tired to look at the computer then I'll plug in my headset and listed to the Hurst audio and put it in my long term memory as they call it lol. Hoping to hear from others as I love reading this forum getting different ideas from other fellow nclex takers.

Np I'm doing well it's just I'm hitting the pony that I need to take the exam soon. I've been laid back lately. I'm still studying but not as crazy as I was 2 months ago. I still have 700 more questions from Uworld and more written notes to read. I'm hoping to be able to finish it this month and take the test soon. I haven't set a date yet but I will hopefully by the end of this month or early Nov.

Thank you!!! 75 questions and good pop up, license pending! I failed in 265 in May! Glad it's over!!

You got this .. take your time ... I honestly never no more than 10 or 20 questions at a time ... I take breaks in between ... I found that I retain the information that way ... the max amount of questions I do in one day was may 40 or 50 questions per day .. do what works for you

I suggest ncsbn review . I don't think I could have passed without that with my study tools . It really trained you to prioritize and Critical think . And it's only 50 dollars !

Nadu13 congrats you conquered NCLEX
