NCLEX October 2017

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello fellow NCLEX takers ... I wanted to start a chat for everyone taking the NCLEX in October ... let's motivate each other. When you need a pick me upper let's check up on each other. What are you using to prepare for the NCLEX? What date in October are you taking the NCLEX? Are you taking NCLEX PN or NCLEX RN?

I'll start with me. My name is Nadia and I'll be taking the NCLEX PN on October 13th. This will be my fourth time to take the NCLEX ... the last time I took the NCLEX was in 2008. I had to take a required refresher course in Florida in order to be eligible to sit for the exam again ... I did that and also did clinical which I absolutely love because I didn't get the same experience when I was in school. I have been using Saunders, just recently completed the Hurst Live Review (which I absolutely loved) and I will be purchasing U World. I've learned so much in the past year and so motivated to start my career. I do work a full time and I am a Team Lead so I have a hectic day almost every singe day. I have no choice but to make time when I get off to study from 7pm until I get tired and that may be 11 pm or 12 am. If I'm too tired to look at the computer then I'll plug in my headset and listed to the Hurst audio and put it in my long term memory as they call it lol. Hoping to hear from others as I love reading this forum getting different ideas from other fellow nclex takers.

Congrats!!!

I just wanted to say "Thank you" to all the encouragement from this website. Finally I can say I passed my NCLEX (2nd try). The 1st time I did the Hurst review, but the 2nd time I studied the Saunders book, Kaplan online and review the priority (Lacharity)book My scores were low for kaplan, but the main part is to understand the rationales. Good luck to everyone. Have faith Trust in God.

Congratulations ... woohoo

Just took my NCLEX RN last wk, stopped at 75 and after a few days I checked for the quick result and it says PASS. I couldn't be more happier.

But this week I'll be taking my NCLEX PN exam, I have a question, how will you check Breeze to see if you passed the exam?

Thanks in advance, everyone!

I took my NCLEX RN 10/23 and tried the PVT trick 24 hours later and got the good pop up. I'm in California and since they don't participate in quick results, any idea how long does it take to get the official results? I keep checking the BRN website to see if my license is posted and it hasn't. Anyone in California that took the NCLEX RN on idea of how long it took for you to get your official results? BRN website says 2-4 weeks but did any of you get it early or did you have to wait 2-4 weeks and also, how long did it take for BRN to post the license on their website?

Hello all, so I finally took my nclex RN yesterday 10/31/17 and that thing shut off @75th question. Decided to do the PVT trick, so far I'm getting a good pop up if it still works. I'm patiently waiting! Oh the wait is a killer
