Hi I took my NCLEX-PN today....it stopped at 85, lots of med, prioritizing, all that apply questions, but I did not get any MATH. Has anyone every passed and not gotten a math question. I am sure that it is a sign that I failed, but I am trying to feel positive.

I took my NCLEX last Friday and I didnt get any math either. I got 120 questions and I passed. I took the test with 3 other people from my class they got 85 questions, no math for them either. They all passed!!! I'm sure you did great, but please dont worry about not getting any math questions. Are you able to get your results in 48 hours? Let us know asap.

Calculation questions are usually considered lower level....I wouldn't be discouraged AT ALL at not getting any :)

I took the NCLEX-PN in December 2005 and answered the minimum of 85 questions, yet received no math questions. Thankfully I passed.

You forget, folks, that each test is different from person to person. The computerized version is obviously much different. BTW.....I did my LPN test the pencil and paper way, and everyone had the same number of questions, too.

:balloons: Thank you all for your reassurance.....I PASSED!!!! It was posted on my BON within 48 hrs, I know that is fast, but the wait was making me sick to my stomach!

I have heard of all sorts of odd things. My first question was math, something to do with how many mls would fill the syringe, and that was it. I had friends that have had 5 math questions, then, there are others that have had NO pharmacology (now, figure THAT...). I had 10 drugs; at least 6 were medications I never heard of in my life, but I passed at 85.

Hey there. I just took my nclex-pn this morning and I had no math questions either, which I thought was weird. It cut off at 90, but I feel like i did horrible on it...

hi, i took the pn test today and i feel awful about it!!!! it stopped at 85 also, i had 1 math question. did anyone else feel like the questions you got on the test stayed at a constant level of difficulty??? i felt confident going into the test but once i started, each question was equally hard. i went with two others from my class and we all felt the same way. both of theirs stopped at 85 also...it's nice to hear that so many have passed at 85, i don't have such an optimistic attitude as far as mine goes. i'll keep you all posted.

livin my dream, yes I feel the same way you do, I was cut off at 85 questions too and I feel horrible about the test. All of the questions seemed like they were equally hard. I live in Ca. so im still waiting for my results, I took my test on Aug. 17th. I am so anxious and scared because I heard that all of my classmates who have taken the test have passed and to make things worse I graduated with honors and if I don't pass I am going to be so embarrassed. I feel as if I didn't pass but reading the comments here makes me feel better because it seems to be a common feeling. Good luck to both of us. What state do you live in? maybe you will get you results before me.:bluecry1:

I took mine last Friday, it stopped @ 85 and I had no math questions at all either, which I thought was a little weird since they give you that eraseable board to do calculations on. I still dont know if I passed because I was never given a password or a username on pearson vue, and no phones in NJ can call 1 900 phone #'s, I was also bombarded with psych and which patient would you check on first style questions, I hope I passed cant really afford to pay for the test again
