I just took my LPN / LVN exam. It stopped at 86 question. I've read alot of articles that it was a good sign coz the more questions you get the more chance that you are below passing grade. On the other side I just did really bad that the CAT figured that I am really not doing well. I've read articles from the past years like 2013-2010. I wonder if this "notion" is still up to the present 2016? I just took mine this month March 2016 for the first time. I enjoyed taking the exam as if I am just answering a review practice test. But I only got like maybe 5 SATA and Delegation / Priority Questions. I can't figure if my question is getting harder which I heard is a good sign. I have some diet food questions that I think was easy but still not sure with my answers. I felt like I don't know nothing at that time and kept on guessing for like 50% of the exam. Does having only 5 SATA test a bad sign? I guess? I know a lot of test format changed for the past years. I heard that every year the passing % gets higher and higher. Also after 24hrs of my test I tried the PVT. Hoping that I can get a good pop up. Was I too early to do it? I've seen some videos and articles but it was years ago. Does anyone tried the PVT this year 2016? is it still accurate? I had a bad feeling that I failed. coz the payment has been received and on process and they emailed me the receipt that's $200 again!!! It's just so sad that California does not participate on Quick result. Need to wait from 4-6wks. Geeezz!! thats to long!!! Well I am starting to study again and hope for the best. Any comment on this is highly appreciated.

Oh my lol how come you didn't know. Pvt works for everyone. Only quick result don't work for Cali. Let me know if you need help

I hope you pass. This long waiting for the results kills me!!! But since I got the bad poop up (they took my CC.) I am studying again. I must admit that i didn't study hard last time. I prioritized my full time job than studying which was a big mistake. You really need to study and a lot quality time on this kind of Exam.

I took the nclex LVN on February 29,2016. I did the pvt 24hrs and 48hrs after the test and god the "good pop up" I still have no received my letter so I called the BVNT, waited for over an hour and spoke to nice lady. She can't tell you if you passed or not but she able to tell you when they mailed the results. So they mailed my results on March 2 and I still haven't received it. I think she inadvertently told me that I can pay for my licensure through the breeze system and bypass the official letter under the Manage application : VN initial app for licensure (3rd drop down). If it takes you to a payment center and you're able to pay $150 than its likely you passed. There's a an address verification page and after that it takes you directly to a credit card payment center. I paid $150, got the receipt so that's telling me I passed. It is still not 100% but its more accurate than the PVT. Also, the reason the PVT is not reliable is because for you to register again you need to get the letter (pass/fail) to re-register to take nclex again and another ATT number if it hasn't expired. And that's all folks! Good luck

don't you need to scan your letter for proof?

I think for LVN it might be different but for RN about 150 people stated that it's accurate. Because we already pay for license with the application. Plz let u us the result

You're giving me hope!!! I tried PVT 24hrs after my exam & it took my payment. I'm still waiting for the result. Maybe 3 more wks.

mvgrace88, what number did the computer shut off? When did you take your exam? Took mine February 18, I'm in California as well. Until now no results yet, it's been a month and four days now..

Hi, did anyone receive their results yet? Took my nclex pn February 18, 2016. Until now no results yet, 1 month and 4 days now...Geez this is a torture.

Oh my god !! Did you call them ? No I took mine March 5th no result another person here that I know took hers at feb22 no result this is ridiculous ?) be pushy and tell them if waiting longer is a good sign . Just make up something and say that you have job waiting in line and you will be losin the only job if you don't hear back from Bon! Also it's ur right to officially take things out of them since it's passed the deadline
