NCLEX LPN/LVN Exam - C.A 2016

I just took my LPN / LVN exam. It stopped at 86 question. I've read alot of articles that it was a good sign coz the more questions you get the more chance that you are below passing grade. On the other side I just did really bad that the CAT figured that I am really not doing well. I've read articles from the past years like 2013-2010. I wonder if this "notion" is still up to the present 2016? I just took mine this month March 2016 for the first time. I enjoyed taking the exam as if I am just answering a review practice test. But I only got like maybe 5 SATA and Delegation / Priority Questions. I can't figure if my question is getting harder which I heard is a good sign. I have some diet food questions that I think was easy but still not sure with my answers. I felt like I don't know nothing at that time and kept on guessing for like 50% of the exam. Does having only 5 SATA test a bad sign? I guess? I know a lot of test format changed for the past years. I heard that every year the passing % gets higher and higher. Also after 24hrs of my test I tried the PVT. Hoping that I can get a good pop up. Was I too early to do it? I've seen some videos and articles but it was years ago. Does anyone tried the PVT this year 2016? is it still accurate? I had a bad feeling that I failed. coz the payment has been received and on process and they emailed me the receipt that's $200 again!!! It's just so sad that California does not participate on Quick result. Need to wait from 4-6wks. Geeezz!! thats to long!!! Well I am starting to study again and hope for the best. Any comment on this is highly appreciated.

WOW! I took the LVN NCLEX on 03/11/16 & went crazy doing every single trick possible!!!!

I had the "good pop up all along" but was still unsure. my test stopped at 109, & thought I'd fail. Did tons of research on C.A.T system and GUESS WHAT.... you are SUPPOSED to feel like you failed! and in all actuality, an expert says that most people don't realize that you do fail about 50% of the test, but GOOD thing it's not based on "percentages"! This is an ADAPTIVE test, meaning that if it was easy, it is most likely you never went above the passing line... After that little research, I felt okay. Weird but, "shrugs" lol

WELL I recieved my CONGRATS letter exactly 6 days later on a Saturday! So CA is not so bad after all! Now here I am, applying for jobs. I am so happy, I just wanted to rub some luck on you all and say walk in with confidence and do your best, the Nclex does not define you or take away your value...

Congrats!!!!!!!! So happy for you.

so do u think PVT is accurate please let me know ! I took mine on March 5tj mine stopped at 80 so many sata questions and priorities but until now no result. The only thing that's calming my Nerve is the PVT trick. I got the good pop up but my name is no wher to be found on breeze! Help

Did u wait the 24 hours after the test to try the pvt? All of my classmates that passed got the good pop up. I think it's pretty accurate

I got this "good" pop up too thru PVT, but when I log into breeze it actually allowed me to pay the 150$ for the retake.. Does this mean I've failed?! Also, a friend who took exam same day as me already received her results, and she passed, which doesn't make me feel too good about my chances-- thinking maybe those who failed they're compiling some sort of remediation guide!

So when I go to MANAGE APP, the third drop down for mine is RETAKE :/ but then on PVT I got the "good" popup! If I passed on Breeze I'm guessing it would have said LICENSURE rather than RETAKE? :/

I'm in the inland empire in southern ca

wow, at 80? I'm hoping that is a good sign as for most cases that I know of, when your test ends early - they pass. Just from the experiences I've heard. I didn't know it could stop before 85! Are you from CA?

I would definitely call. My friend had passed & waited 3 week. she called & they said they send the letter but she never got it. But was able to register on Breeze for her license before she even got her passing letter!

So try this... go onto breeze & try to register... if they find an applicable license for you with your name and ssn, then most likely...you have passed!

I did I even try th pop up after 10 days and it give me the same message. But because mine is taking so long I getting scared. I say a pattern with those that pass that they are getting their result faster. So I don't know if it's someone's luck or what. Btw mine is for RN not LVN so i don't know or that makes a difference.

I took took my exam at Pasadena Cali. Your test can shut off at 70! That's the lower and that could mean good or bad. They said the bad sign would be if they give you a lot of math because math questions back to back mean low level questions but mine I was getting a lot of select all and medications and variety of different questions.

My exam is for RN NOT LVN so maybe that make a difference on the process ??

Hi everyone! I just got my letter and I want to start my review for Nclex-PN, and I don't know where to start. What kind of books you guys used and helped you the most? I heard that there's a lot of prioritization and delegation and SATA. I'm not sure which book to start first. Thank you

Does anyone know how long it takes for your license number to post on Breeze?

Does anyone know how long it takes for your license number to post on Breeze?

It really depends on your luck and charisma! Some people get it within 4 days and some not even longer than a month
