I just took my LPN / LVN exam. It stopped at 86 question. I've read alot of articles that it was a good sign coz the more questions you get the more chance that you are below passing grade. On the other side I just did really bad that the CAT figured that I am really not doing well. I've read articles from the past years like 2013-2010. I wonder if this "notion" is still up to the present 2016? I just took mine this month March 2016 for the first time. I enjoyed taking the exam as if I am just answering a review practice test. But I only got like maybe 5 SATA and Delegation / Priority Questions. I can't figure if my question is getting harder which I heard is a good sign. I have some diet food questions that I think was easy but still not sure with my answers. I felt like I don't know nothing at that time and kept on guessing for like 50% of the exam. Does having only 5 SATA test a bad sign? I guess? I know a lot of test format changed for the past years. I heard that every year the passing % gets higher and higher. Also after 24hrs of my test I tried the PVT. Hoping that I can get a good pop up. Was I too early to do it? I've seen some videos and articles but it was years ago. Does anyone tried the PVT this year 2016? is it still accurate? I had a bad feeling that I failed. coz the payment has been received and on process and they emailed me the receipt that's $200 again!!! It's just so sad that California does not participate on Quick result. Need to wait from 4-6wks. Geeezz!! thats to long!!! Well I am starting to study again and hope for the best. Any comment on this is highly appreciated.
Hi i was just wondering if your talking about the add license to registration preview in breeze? I actually put my name ssn and birthdate and they said congratualations they locate me but its just saying the inv/ org number:5373673 then my name and license type / registration type: it says license / registration no.Does thismeans anything ???
Hi Laverne, I tested for PN in CA on June 21, got the good pop up but still no result, I did get the same screen as yours on breeze "Add license to Registration Preview", with an entity number of 7 digits, I understand you passed, hope it works the same for me :)
Hello, I just took my NCLEX PN last Saturday (29July). I don't get what the good pop up means. My exam had a lot of SATA and it ended at 85 after I took it for an hour. I am so anxious for the results and not having Quick Results is killing me! I also took the NCLEX RN for Washington last April and passed but I feel like I've been so lax with NCLEX PN because I passed the RN. I tried doing the PVT trick but it brings me to the Credit card page and that scares me. I never went thru because I'm scared they might get another $200. I am going on a vacation but I am also super anxious, I don't know how to enjoy it without knowing my results. I took it on a Saturday but I only got the "Now that you've completed the NCLEX Examination, we understand you may still have questions. For a list of answers to commonly asked questions and your next steps as a candidate, please visit: " email this Monday morning. Does that mean they only acknowledged my NCLEX exam this Monday and I should try the PVT trick again soon? I feel like I'm in denial because I don't have the "good pop up". Thank you.
Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time.
That was what I got. IS THAT THE "GOOD POP UP"?
I took it because California won't let me be a working RN because I still need to take an Obstetrics class so I took my exam in Washington and passed. I already also applied for LVN beforehand so I had no choice to take it because I already bought it.

Yes, that's the good pop up. Congrats!
I actually changed the CVC code and the expiration date when I did mine. I think each code and date was always different when I checked
Hello everyone! I wanted to share my story for the LVN nclex for 2017-2018 period. I was looking on here and lost a little bit of hope because I couldn't really find much for this year. I am from CA and graduated the VN program October 26,17 I also applied for the Interim permit that was a waste of money since I couldn't use it anywhere. I received my ATT letter on November 22 & I set my NCLEX date to test on December 21 @ 1:00 in Sacramento. To study I was using the saunders book and doing the questions online which personally I didn't really like. I heard Uworld was really good and gave it a chance and bought it. I loved it! The explanation and rationales were really good. I did 1,118 questions and wrote down all of my rationales in a notebook right and wrong. I was scoring any where from 40-70 percent and ended up with 67 percentile once I completed the questions. The day before my test I didn't study I enjoyed my time and relaxed. The day of my test I was very nervous but people say it's all about confidence and you actually know way more than you think you do. I took that into mind and went into the facility with all the confidence I ever had. As soon as i started the test I was in shock because it looked exactly like UWORLD. I had mostly SATA questions, alot of further teaching questions and I stopped around 90. I was there for an hour and a half. I walked out like I failed it for sure! As soon as we got onto the freeway (my husband drove) I received an email stating that I just completed the nclex blah blah. I thought ok now this is my chance to try the pvt everyone is talking about. I logged into Pearson VUe and used my credit card # but changed the date and the security code on the back and received the "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam.." -known as "The good pop up". I started crying lol but still was unsure. Ok, fast forward on December 24th I logged into Breeze and on the left in the drop down area I had a new option-Vocational nurse initial application for licensure. This wasn't there before it was allowing me to pay $150 for a license I wasn't even sure I passed. I took the chance and paid it on the 28th and I received my passing letter on the 29! Breeze still stated pending under license info up until January 3 I finally had a license # and my name appeared on the breeze website. I am sooooo happy and relieved. So all in all take that Nclex like you own it, if nothing is working give UWORLD a try, take a deep breath, the good pop up still works and even though CA doesn't do the quick results it all went pretty quickly! Good luck Future Nurses -P
