  1. I called on Thursday on hold for 40 mins. They told me that they are having issues with their vendor. They will be updating their website, saying that LvN do not have to have the actual license in their hand. We may work work the company looking on their site. I don't know how true this is, but this is what I was told. This is such a big inconvenience for me because I have had to reschedule two interviews. It just doesn't look professional at all. Also, I need my license because I applying for a lvn to RN program this month.
  2. Still haven't received my license. I had to push back my interview a second time í ½í¸¬
  3. Let me know if you got it
  4. Crazy. I've been waiting for my license since the 14th of July. I cannot even attend the interviews I have without it. A lot of nurses say they receive their license a week after paying for it online. I check the mail every day and get so discouraged.
  5. I loved it, it helped me pass. I watched each video twice and studied the study guide for 3 weeks.
  6. I would not mail it. Calling can take hours up to days. Go to your applications, it has to give you an option to pay for your initial license. It's already nerve wrecking to take the test, wait for results. Even though I have my letter, I paid, im still waiting to have my actual license in my hand. I'm going to sign up for school in the fall, going to go to one of the local community colleges. Not the fastest but cheapest route.
  7. Same here 1 week and 1 day. I was stressed that I was going to have to wait weeks for a pass/fail letter. Congrats. I took my test July 12th, paid for my license July 14th, still haven't received my actual license yet. I had to push my interview back till next week. I told Rhea0105 to check breeze ca to see if she has the pay for your initial licensure. Question, are you waiting to start your lvn-Rn program or are you looking into it now? I don't want to waste anytime. It's so sad that national university/brightwood college(47k) are asking thousands. I feel like it's really sales. I reached out to Grand Canyon it was 126k for lvn-Bsn. Really sad that education will put you in so much debt. I'm going back to community college.
  8. I would've taken the nclex-pn before entering in to the BSN. You could've easily cut the cost and did a step up program. I would look into that. Fast forward to today, I did not try the pvt- trick, didn't want to gamble away money. I would log into your CA breeze account and look at your options on applications. If the applications drop down menu gives you a option to for initial CONGRATS!!!!!! Good luck!!!!
  9. True, I do feel like it should be apart of the VN program. I feel like I'm just paying $200 so it can look good on my resume. You're right, I saw IV Cert preferred, so I definitely think that would make stand out. I start in August and most place want close to $400. I'm just happy that I found a great deal.
  10. I wish I was joking and the fact that I am a certified phlebotomist doesn't meet the requirements.
  11. I found a program with brightwood-vista for $175, downfall is they want me to commit to 6 Saturdays and Sundays. Other programs are much more exspensive but you bang it out in 3 days-12hrs. Can anyone give me suggestions on where you went for your program. Brightwood course is in vista,ca.
  12. I took my test July 12 @ 8am. My options change on breeze and it let me pay for my initial license on July 14th. I received my official congratulations letter that following Friday. I still don't have my license and I have a interview next week. So I'm a little anxious about that.
