NCLEX---last question wrong

Hi!!! I took the NCLEX PN Tuesday and I got 90 questions. Everyone told me I passed but I doubted it:nono: , I found out today I passed. I believe you passed,:monkeydance::balloons: I don't think it has anything to do with if your last answer was right or wrong. Good luck!!! Keep us posted.

Hi I'm new here. Just took my NCLEX-PN exam today and Boy, it was hard! I studied a lot and prayed really hard but still the whole process stresses me out. I don't know if I want to check my result on Saturday. Anyway, I got 85 questions. Just wondering, the computer gave me a prompt if I want to take a break at 84 and then the it shut off after I submitted the 85th question. Anybody knows what this means? Please enlighten me...Many thanks

Hi I'm new here. Took my NCLEX-PN this AM. Boy, it was indeed hard! I studied a lot and prayed hard but the whole process is stressing me out until this point. I don't know if I will have the courage to check on my result this Saturday. The computer gave me a prompt that I can take a break after the 84th question and then shut off at 85. Anybody knows what this means? Please enlighten me. Many thanks...

i took the nclex-pn over 3 weeks ago and i should be getting my results this next week in cali it takes 4 weeks to get your results unless you call everyday bugging them and they wont tell you over the phone if you failed so i think ill wait i stopped at #90 because i ran out of time i think i got my last ? right but i know that probably doesnt matter the whole last 60 ? applies to me so i probably killed myself with the running out of time thing i plan to take it over it sucks anyway anyone out there taken the nclex, ran out of time and passed i think i posted this ? before but no one responded. good luck to all of us awaiting results. www

I know this may sound dumb and I'm sure there are other posts related to it...but does the last question 'make or break' your score?
I took the NCLEX-PN yesterday. I know 85 is the minimum so I was getting nervous after I hit 85. I got 2 more questions and it turned off. Now I'm worried because I know you're 'on your own' after 85 and I only got TWO questions. I think I got the last one wrong, so I was just curious if that makes/breaks your test. If I was doing poorly and the computer thought "I just need one more to be 95% sure she'll fail" and then I got cut off, doesn't it mean I probably got it wrong? Somehow I just couldn't see the computer shutting off if you got the last one right. I'm sure if it meant you were obviously passing it could, but I'm 99% sure I got it wrong. When it cut off after such doubt, it only made me think I failed.
Anyway...just my venting for today. I find out my results tomorrow. Thanks for any replies. This place is a good 'outlet' to talk, even if no one responds.

thats good that you'll find out your result right away. i bet you did good, keep me updated! by the way my classmate took her board exam stopped at 89 and passed. she even said it was a piece of cake, that is why i really admire her, though she wasnt really good at school (i wasnt either) =D she did really good at the board exam.

i am also waiting for my nclex-PN result. i took it on the 17th of march. stopped at 85, i dont know what i was doing inside the testing area, i was totally out of my mind- like, it felt like it was just a dream, it was too late when i realized that it was the time that i have been waiting for for a long time; i was mental blocked. i didnt get to use the process of elimination, i felt i was only doing a review (happy-go-lucky type of thing) when i was answering the questions in the testing area and just chose whatever i thought was right.... Till now, i havent gotten my result. i called BVNPT they said that those who took their board exam on the 16-22th of March- results will be sent out tomorrow Friday the Thirteen (4/13/07). So i'm just really praying that there will be a miracle.
