NCLEX June 2018

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hey all! First off, congrats to everyone who graduated this year (and those who graduated in any previous year)!!! My day was May 11th, and it still feels so surreal. Also unreal. Probably because I'm busting my butt studying for this crazy NCLEX thing that's looming on the horizon! In that regard, it feels like nothing has changed haha.

I scheduled my NCLEX for mid-June, because everything else that was available felt too late or too early, and I'm still feeling skeptical about the day I chose. But it's definitely motivated me to keep a decent study schedule going. And if anything, like if I feel super unprepared, I can always reschedule to a later date, but I'm trying to avoid this. I've been using UWorld, trying to do at least 50 questions a day, and then doing questions/reviewing Saunders on 3 specific systems a day, just to brush up on it. I also plan to start utilizing Mark Klimek's audios when I find time to sit and listen. The week before the NCLEX, once my review of systems is (hopefully) complete, I will do at least 150 questions a day. Then, like many others, I will not study at all the day before the exam, and Monday, June 11th is the big day!

That being said, I saw a bunch of other threads for people who were taking the NCLEX during a specific month, so I thought I'd go ahead and do the same for the month of June! I like the idea of us building each other up, supporting each, crying to each other, offering insight or advice or tips that we may know... the list goes on. Anybody taking the NCLEX in the month of June, or even early July? Anybody freaking out like me??? "RN" is so close I can almost taste it! Ahhhhhh!

Hello. I have recently graduated on May 12th and will be sitting for the NCLEX June 13th. I am growing more and more anxious everyday. I have been using Uworld to study as well and the NCLEX Mastery App. Good Luck to all!

What is your email?

I'm fairly new to this site, and am so glad I'm not the only one freaking out about the NCLEX, haha. I went through a two year bachelor's program, graduated in May, and take the NCLEX on June 4th. I am literally scared to death. Just thinking about it makes me panic because it's so close! My school used Kaplan exclusively and that's what I've been studying with (boatloads of qbank questions and remediation) as well as school notes and such. Anyone who's passed -do y'all have any reviews on Kaplan as far as how it prepared you? And how your NCLEX exam went? At this point, I'm just trying to quell the overwhelming anxiety lol.

I passed! I thankfully didnt have to wait the excruciating 48 hours because my BON posted my license already!

Hello everyone!

I am scheduled to take my NCLEX on June 19. However i feel confident to take it sooner. I keep going back and forth between rescheduling and keeping my original date. I currently am using UWorld and Kaplan as study tools. I've been averaging 50-60's on both. I'm so nervous!!!

Does anyone know if the PVT is accurate?

according to the countless threads i have read on, its really accurate with a slim chance and i mean slim. IM still waiting on my att

Waiting for my ATT was very frustrating. I hope you get yours soon!!!

Hi there,

I'm also studying while I wait for my ATT. I started studying about one month ago using the Saunders book, and the Kaplan NCLEX-RN Prep 2018. So far I've been scoring between 75 and 78% on average of 75 questions. I was just wondering if my scores would be equivalent to passing the NCLEX??? Do you know??? The reason why I'm curious to finding out is because the Kaplan questions to me seem a bit easy, and I'm wondering if they're analysis and critical thinking type questions? Please inquire!

Hi there,

Yes the PVT is very accurate! I've taken this exam twice already and both times I tried it and it tried to take my money off my credit card í ½í¸© I've read where some students are saying that as soon as they left the testing center, they would try the PVT while sitting in their car. But I never tried it that soon, I waited at least a few hours before trying . So give it try once you're done with testing . Good luck!!!

Worked for me last week. I got the good pop-up and found out for sure that I'd passed using Quick Results a couple of days later. Just make sure you put the wrong expiration date on your card so you don't get charged.

I don't know anything about Kaplan/UWorld because I used ATI, but if you feel ready just go for it. I took mine 2 weeks after I graduated and passed. It would have done me no good to wait longer, it just would have prolonged the anxiety. I was very happy to get it out of the way and now I can just relax and prepare to start my job instead of worrying about passing the NCLEX.

I'm June 11th also!!! I'm just doing Hurst questions everyday and studying the book they gave me.
