NCLEX June 2020, 60 questions

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I had my NCLEX taken yesterday (05/06/20). I finished at 60 for an hour. I find it difficult probably because I only studied and reviewed for five days and U-World was the only learning resource I have. I have not had sufficient time for study as I am working full time at the same time and everyone knows how heavy the workload is these days due to the pandemic. Apart from the rationales in U-World, I also based my answers from the residual knowledge I gained during university which was years ago and from my clinical experiences and exposures. Now, I am extremely anxious waiting for the result. Although I am not expecting anything, I tried the PV trick yesterday and I received a good pop up. Does it still work though?

UWorld is extremely helpful. That is the only thing I utilised for the NCLEX.

The rationales are clear and concise. And they do have explanations to each option why and why is this not the answer. I am sure you will do great.

Goodluck on your exam ?

Any tips what were u scoring? I’m so nervous

If you try to register for a test (change the expiration date of the card to avoid getting charges), a bad pop up is something along the lines of problem with the card used. The “good” pop up tells you you’re already scheduled for the exam. I hope this helps! I take my NCLEX Thursday ?

After the exam, you will receive an email that says "Now that you've completed the exam...". And you will have to wait for about 2 hours from the time you received that before you can try the PV trick.

Are you a student or a former practicing nurse?

If you are a student who has never been licensed, Your first step would be to pick a state in which you plan to live and contact that state’s Board of Nursing to find out what the requirements are for foreign nursing students wishing to receive licensure stateside. I know you’ll be asked to complete an application and have official transcripts sent in. You can also look up the requirements for each state online. This should get you started in the right direction.

Keep in mind that if you are a former practicing nurse, you may be required to take a refresher course and do preceptorship hours since you haven’t worked as a nurse in 4 years if all of your clearance check out. The BON will have all of those answers, though.
