NCLEX July 2018

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone!

I decided to start this thread for anyone who is taking their NCLEX in July 2018. I just received my ATT & scheduled for the middle of July giving me about 5 1/2 weeks to study.

Feel free to share any study tips/tricks, what you're using to study (UWorld, Kaplan, ATI, etc), and ask any questions! I'll be using ATI & UWorld.

Good luck to everyone!

Took the NCLEX earlier today, stopped at 80s. I had about 20 SATAs 1 drag and drop 2 med calcs an exhibit question and the rest are multiple choice questions. So afraid to do the PVT so I'm ginna wait for 2 days for the unofficial results. Anyway I thank God for the opportunity given me, that is to take the NCLEX:)

Awesome! I pray you get the best news soon!

So I just finished taking the NCLEX a little while ago. I took 180 questions and got the "good" pop-up. I hope it's true.

Hi!!

I took NCLEX on July 10th in California. Finished in 75 questions. Results were up July 11th at 11:50pm. IM A NURSE!! The wait for results is agonizing. I tried the PVT and got the good pop ups. I used VATI and UWorld. I think UWorld is 100 times better and very useful. Best of luck!!

Took Lpn for the second time today, finished at 205, did the trick 15 minutes later and god the exam still opened, so I tried again and it tried to accept payment. It's in God's hands now and for accuracy I'm gonna just wait until tomorrow to see. Idk o passed or failed but I'm scared as hell. And the PVT only has made me believe that I have in fact failed again. And advice? I'm exhausted at this point.

Hello everyone,

Just took the exam. I got cut off at 75 questions. I used UWorld, the Mark Klimek audios, read some of Saunders and the NCLEX mastery Pretest and Posttest (they were having a sale). I just wanna give some words of comfort: the exam is not this big monster that everyone makes it out to be. I got there expecting not to know anything based off of others testimonies, but if youve studied: you will know things. Of course there will be things you dont know but that should be expected. I'm not sure if I passed yet or not but I did the PVT trick and I got the good pop up. Again, still not confirmed. I will probably have to wait until Monday unfortunately.

If anyone has taken it on a Saturday, please let me know how long it took you guys to find out so I can be on the look out.

Hey guys, I took the NCLEX-RN on Friday July 13th (yesterday) at 11 AM. The test cut off for me at 75 questions and then I got 13 research questions. I took about 1 and a half hour to complete the 75 questions. I was struggling with less than half of those questions but with the multiple choice I could usually narrow it down to two options. I am scared that I have failed because some of my questions were super hard and I feel I got many of those hard questions wrong. I had quite a few SATA and I had one medication calculation question. I didn't feel confident walking out of the test center and I know many people have said that if you don't feel confident, it means you passed. However, I can't imagine passing because those questions really stumped me. I would appreciate anyone's advice who has been in a similar position. Thank you!

Im doing my nclex Friday the 20th i move it up from the 23rd im getting tired of studying . wish me luck guys

Im using kaplan , Uworld , Mark Klimek, and Lacharity

its hard to use so much things at once i use Lacharity once in while, i think ive done about 4 chapters >the chapters are like small as 23 questions.

i listen to Mark Klimek religiously. Uworld certainly help me with content. i was trying to use the Saunders but i eventually caught myself just skipping pages without reading. so uworld help me alot ive done a little over a 1,236 questions my average is 61% with a 80 rank. i have 873 questions left and its expiring in 3 days :(. I took notes on majority of questions i got wrong and print out tables. I took a break off Kaplan cause I just wasnt liking it , the questions are much harder with little explanation. But i went back on it and i realize every question bank ive done i got over 60%. i got a 70% yesterday . today i took a 75 question bank and got 64%. I am happy cause i was only getting in the 50s. so im hoping this is a good sign that im ready. oh i did the readiness test on kaplan 180 questions i only finish 148 and got a 58% ( i did it on my phone because apart of my town electricity was down ...worst idea) so i decided to calculate from where i left off and that is a 72% which is a 99% chance of passing ..

hey! I took mine the same day but at 8am. Any updates? God this is agonizing... worst 48hrs of my life and still counting.....
