NCLEX July 2018

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone!

I decided to start this thread for anyone who is taking their NCLEX in July 2018. I just received my ATT & scheduled for the middle of July giving me about 5 1/2 weeks to study.

Feel free to share any study tips/tricks, what you're using to study (UWorld, Kaplan, ATI, etc), and ask any questions! I'll be using ATI & UWorld.

Good luck to everyone!

I took my test today at 8am and it was the worst test I've ever taken in my life. The questions were vague and very, very random. I stopped at 75. I tried the pearson vue trick twice so far and got the good pop-up. Fingers crossed!

saying it was the worst test only scare people and make them more nervous. obviously it wasnt that bad if it cut off at 75 and you got a good pop up.keep a positive vibe for future test taker.

yes it was vague an not deeply content driven, some common sense questions too. but not hard or impossible..im sure you pass!!

Let me clarify. Not trying to scare anyone at all, just going based off my experience. Obviously it's not impossible. But it was the hardest, most frustrating test I've ever taken. Future test takers should know that although the questions (and even some answers) were ridiculously vague and the test is extremely difficult, you can pass! Keep in mind that 87% of first time NCLEX takers pass the first time. Use that to give you confidence! I used UWorld, Hurst, and the LaCharity Prioritization book. All great resources.

Taking my NCLEX on Friday in San Dimas, CA!!

Just took my NCLEX today (07/26/18) in Anaheim, CA. Had around 15-20 SATA, 1 math question, and 3 Drag and Drop. Did the PVT and got the good pop-up 2 hours after my test. Did it again at midnight and still got the Good pop up. Hopefully I passed!

hi! I am also in PA.. how long did it take to see your name on PA SBON website??

Hey all! I just took mine on the 2nd and got the "good pop up" 24 hours before and after the test (I'm nuts and keep checking). Results are due tomorrow, but I've heard you can check your BON, mine is PA and they aren't up yet - that is, if I did pass. Definitely unsure of myself as I had 90 questions total 30+ SATA, no maternity/PEDs, no cardiac rhythms, a few pharm...my test was comprised of mostly priority, delegation and disease precautions.

Good luck to you all!!

how long until your name was listed on PA SBON website?? I am also in PA

Hello everyone! I took my NCLEX this morning and finished with 94 questions. I did the Pearson trick twice and got the good pop up! I'm still waiting the the quick results so I'll know it's real! lol! I few of my friends that have passed already and used the trick and it worked for them, I'm hoping it does for me as well :)

Hi, everyone! Took the test in CA 7/28. 75 questions. Good pop-up but no results yet!!!! This is KILLING ME!!!!! Any late July takers from CA? Anyone gotten results yet? Still waiting?

Hi! Have you heard anything yet? I'm in same boat in CA,(Fairfield), but took the test 2 days later?

I took my NCLEX-RN on 7/2 and still have no heard anything back, no letter of failure and i got the good pop up. I even called the CA BRN and they are no help and keep telling me to just wait another week.

That is awful!!! I'm so sorry for you, and now I'm terrified for me as well!
