Hi all,
I took the NCLEX at 8 am this morning and tried the PVT trick at 1:30 today, I got the “good pop up” so I’m hoping this is still accurate!! Can someone help give me a peace of mind?!?

Thank you, let’s hope it holds true!
and I found it hard but no matter what everyone says you never really feel like you sid good so I’m sure it’s just part of the process. I read an old hurst book and bought the 5 week NCSBN course and did all their practice questions! Good luck to you ??

From kindergarten to your nursing school, you took tests that had a certain number of questions and you had to get XX number correct to pass. NCLEX looks at the level of difficulty of the questions you consistently answer correctly to determine if you pass. It is giving you more and more difficult answers until you answer incorrectly. That goes against your last 14-16 yrs of experience taking tests. People equate missing questions as potentially failing the test.

Hi there! That seems like a good sign that you've passed! I'm currently doing the NCSBN review course and my test is coming up really soon! What are your thoughts on the practice questions from the NCSBN review course? Were they similar to the NCLEX?

Hi!! I did for sure pass! I liked the NCSBN review. It helped me learn to critically think better in the situations that it gives you. I wouldn’t necessarily say they were similar to NCLEX because they were a lot more specific and the test was a lot more basic, but I felt prepared after completely the entire program and passed in 75!!
