So tomorrow is the big day....up to 6 long hours of torture...Any last minute tips for the big day?! I'm sooo nervous!!
As everyone has said remember to breathe.........dont rush your test, read each word in the question, then the answers and then back to the question. You can pass at 75 questions....just remember if takes you pass 75, the computer is still deciding if you are safe to practice, so take your time and focus in answering the questions.
Dont forget your strategies, and always go with what maintain safety and allows the patient to express themselves.........
You got this, now go rock this!!!!
Thank you to everyone for their kind words and support!!! I left the testing center thinking it was the HARDEST test in the world, and i didn't know if i should be happy cause it was over or sad cause i had just failed....I checked today and WOOOOHHHHH
I PASSED!!!!!!!!
I can now join all you wonderful nurses out there in the real world!!!

Don't study at all right before it, it will only make you more nervous, try to distract yourself. I went out shopping and to lunch with a friend right before and it definitely kept my mind off the test. Most importantly, when you arrive at the test center your heart will likely be pounding in your chest. The first two questions I got were ridiculously obscure just out of chance and this certainly made me panic even more. I didn't let myself move on from the second question though until I made myself calm down. I reminded myself that those two questions do not determine how I will do on the test overall and I could have even answered them correctly. I took some deep breaths and closed my eyes for a minute. After that I felt much better, relaxed, and passed at 75 questions.
Remember that they do not expect you to know everything in the world about nursing but that you can critically think and are a safe nurse. It will be over before you know it! GOOD LUCK!
