I sat the CRNE recently and I would say the biggest thing is breathe! Try and get a good nights sleep and just give it your best shot! Good luck!!!!!

I freaked out like a maniac. Please don't do the same. Easier said than done, I know. I freaked out when I co mpleted 75 questions in a half hour...... yes, I did pass. And a classmate was there for 3 hours with 250 questions and passed.... so go in, take the test like you would an exam in school.

Good Luck!

I agree. As hard as it is, try to relax, take a deep breath. Tell yourself "you can do it!".

Make sure you get a good night's sleep and that you are confident you know how to get to the testing center. Give yourself plenty of time to get to the testing center in the morning and have your paperwork and identification all gathered together and ready to go so you don't stress yourself out before you even get there. When I took my NCLEX they took my picture, scanned my fingerprint, and did a palm scan so don't be surprised by anything like that and don't let that make you nervous either.

You can pass with 75 questions or 265 but plan for more so you don't freak out if it doesn't cut out at 75. Don't forget that in the worst case scenario, you can always take it again.

Yea, go to sleep!

i agree... BREATHE. you won't die (I was convinced I would...).

S-L-E-E-P!!!

NOW!!!

Then take a deep cleaning breath...

and READ EVERY SINGLE WORD VERY CAREFULLY.

Oh yeah... and breath :)

Good luck!

Sleep as much as you can tonight, put all negative thoughts aside, don't even think about the types of questions you might get or lab values, etc. Just put it all out of your mind and once you get there tomorrow, breathe, believe in yourself and answer as best you can. Don't overthink or spend too much time on one question. You've been preparing for the NCLEX since day 1 of nursing school. Best of luck!

Good luck and get some rest...:)

I went in there with the attitude that "I could take this again if all goes wrong"

I'm not saying to bs it, take it seriously. But don't stress over something that can be redone. It doesn't say on your license how many times you took it.

After sitting at the computer for a little over an hour and getting 75 questions, I left the building in complete shock. I thought, all this build up to the big day and I sat for less than 2 hours and finished? Really? That's it?

The following 48 hours were the longest days of my life! Thankfully a couple of my friends stayed with me and kept me company keeping my mind off it. I gave in a little after 24 hours and tried the trick, I was somewhat relieved but didn't want to get my hope up at the same time. Next day checked online and I passed!!! :yeah:

Get a good nights rest, eat a well balanced meal and walk in with confidence. Oh yeah, and remember to BREATHE!!!

You'll do AWESOME!!! :yeah:

Don't study at all right before it, it will only make you more nervous, try to distract yourself. I went out shopping and to lunch with a friend right before and it definitely kept my mind off the test. Most importantly, when you arrive at the test center your heart will likely be pounding in your chest. The first two questions I got were ridiculously obscure just out of chance and this certainly made me panic even more. I didn't let myself move on from the second question though until I made myself calm down. I reminded myself that those two questions do not determine how I will do on the test overall and I could have even answered them correctly. I took some deep breaths and closed my eyes for a minute. After that I felt much better, relaxed, and passed at 75 questions.

Remember that they do not expect you to know everything in the world about nursing but that you can critically think and are a safe nurse. It will be over before you know it! GOOD LUCK!
