I am the most anxiety prone person, I know. I worry about everything. I have studied for a good three weeks preparing for the Nclex. I have prayed for GOD to show me favor and INDEED HE DID.
I got to pearson vue... and I was shaky and nervous, sweating, and tripping over myself. I just kept saying Lord cover me with the blood of Jesus and prayed to St. Cupertino for test assistance. I'm Catholic.
Anyway I get the test and BAM question after question is SATA, I had at most 30, no JOKE, every time they appeared it was like a cruel joke . The first 10 SATA appeared, I was like, " Okay there shouldn't be anymore". I was wrong. When I was doing KAPLAN and NCLEX 4000 I had always get them wrong. So I'm scared. I had no math, no hotspot, not any other special questions but SATA. I nearly ****** my pants.
My test shut off at 75, I was horrified. 30 SATAs. 30 SATAs is all thought about. I shaking as I drive home. I'm weak and crying. I prayed the whole way home. I was too scared to do the POP UP until today this morning and said I need to check, so I can sleep.
I did the pop up trick and got the good pop up. I'm shaking still of shock.
My advice for SATAs is get NCLEX 4000 and do the alternate style of question, I think they had like 264 and I sat there and did them all. I also recommend to get NCSBN, HURST, KaplaN Q-bank, NCLEX 4000. The one I think that best had the feel of NCLEX was NCSBN questions. Try to answer ALL the questions and read the modules.
I just want to thank GOD, St. Cupertino for my helping me.
I also want to thank allnurses.com for their unofficial study guide.

Congratulations Nurse!!!
I also recommend if you didn't read or hear a statement about any condition. Don't pick it, remain confident in your answer.

Thank you. I think u got that from ncbsn tips on how to answer questions. Il be taking soon and I'm praying so hard to pass it. Thanks for the tips and congratulation.
Yep, SATAs are shaky...I made a commitment to answer what I read or heard to be true. NCSBN is worth every penny. Those questions are hard. I ranged from a 45-72% and did them over again 3 times.
Lil Debbie Did you do just the questions on NCSBN or did you do the the content as well? Also with Kaplan did you watch all the videos?

Hey, I think most of us think we failed miserably when we leave the testing center. I got the good pop-up and was still skeptical (I have spent hours researching) so today I surrendered the $7.95 and indeed I passed! You did it! Way to be! :)

Congrats RN!
@RN2BEESOON what I did was watch hurst review twice, and went through every module on NCSBN the week before exam to reinforce content and got into more detail than hurst. While I was doing that I purchased the Kaplan Q-bank (which I have 2 more payments left to pay for) also read the strategies, ?'s Nclex 4000, and the Marlene Husrt book (I read some of it but I kept hearing her voice so I stopped reading it..lol), Sauders is boring to read, and I answered every question on NCSBN. I really recommend NCSBN, its the cheapest and worth it.
