took nclex yesterday and I'm freaking out

Hi! I've never posted a thread before, but I need some support now. I took the nclex yesterday and I just don't have a good feeling about the result's. The computer shut off after 75 question's!!! I don't know if that's a good thing, or bad. I thought alot of the question's were difficult, but I'm confident on other's. Please give me some advise on how you felt after the exam, so I don't totally freak out before I get the result's. THANKS

The good news is the majority of people who pass, pass with 75 questions. The bad news is you can't tell just by the number of questions whether you passed or failed becuase it's just the number of questions.

It's a dreadful test. What you're going through is entirely normal.

hey i took mine yesterday too and it ended with 75 questions. I thought the questions were hard as well. I found out i passed today but yesterday b/f i knew for sure i had a theory. My questions were hard no doubt but some i answers i was confident in and i thought well if i'm not passing within the 1st 75 then i think they would make me do more questions and not fail me at the 75 mark b/c i answered some correctly. This theory helped me get through the night so i wouldn't worry myself to death...lol Hope this helps

It's the longest 48 hrs of your life...I know! Try to relax...take a good ole fashioned bubble bath & read a book! Good luck to you!

I know how you feel. When my exam stopped at 75, I felt relieved but then later on I felt like maybe I didn't pass....I was so nervous those 48 hours! I remember walking out after the exam and feeling stunned. I felt kinda good about it...but I didn't think I passed, nor did I think I failed. I was happy to know I passed 48 hours later though :) Wishing you the best!

You'll get the results soon. I was a wreck too. I just went straight from my test to work. Then to pick up paperwork. adn tot hte vet. Adn to the tire shop. And to a movie with my friends. Then I passed out asleep. Then work again the next day!

Stay busy in whatever way you can, it will keep your mind off of it. And to think: I suffered an 80 question test.
