I think in general, schools with an major exam tend to teach the test in some ways. You can't avoid it. Outsiders and prospective students want to know that the education there is valid, and one easy way to compare is to see how many graduated passed the test. I foudn my NCLEX VERY hard, with questions that required yout o do things like look at four patients, and given very little information no which assessment finding were normal for a disease process, which werent and which were more alarming than others, or required immediate action. It was alot more thinking and alot less definition/memorization.

You'll get the results soon. I was a wreck too. I just went straight from my test to work. Then to pick up paperwork. adn tot hte vet. Adn to the tire shop. And to a movie with my friends. Then I passed out asleep. Then work again the next day! Stay busy in whatever way you can, it will keep your mind off of it. And to think: I suffered an 80 question test.

Got in on my first and only application. GPA 3.84 for my first degree. Second degree accelerated nursing graduate.

I've just graduated from TCU's ABT track. Speed nursing options are: Just get an ADN. Approx time 2 years after prerequisites, Cost reasonably low. options include many area community colleges. I know very little about the TWU program, but some of my classmates applied for it. Thinking it's reasonably similar to TCU's program. TCU ABT program: total time 15 months if you have all the prerequisites. Cost fairly high. 4 semesters of full time TCU tuition, you can check on the TCU website for current prices. I'd bet the TWU program is a similar time & cost as its also a private university. The Accelerated BSN programs are 4 semesters, but they run May one year to Aug the next, so les calendar months, but also no breaks. Just depends on how good you can work under pressure, your time constraints, and your financial status. Good luck no matter what you choose!
