My gf has been racking her brain about weather or not she has passed or failed. She has a lot riding on this test. She took the test and got the max amount of 265 ?'s. She tried to do the pearson vue trick after the test. For the 1st 6 hours it came up with the pop up. Now it goes to the credit card screen. Has anyone else had this happen before? I hope she passed!
Merged with existing thread, we request that all questions regarding the trick is kept in the same thread.

When she first tried the trick did it tell her that delivery was successful?
  2. by tooldude
yes....she said that the delivery was successful. She was checking it every hour on the hour until it came to the credit card screen. Any ideas?

what did the original pop up say exactly?
  4. by tooldude
She said the pop up said "your record's are on hold. A new registration can not be completed at this time."

very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. this means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. if you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. if you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

I did the PVT when I tested on Tuesday and I got the good pop up. Checked the California BON today and I am officially and RN! Wooot!!!
  7. by tooldude
I read that. So does that mean the results will take longer to process? Once you get that message will the trick still work? From what I read now that its going to the credit card screen means shes failed.

based on that, i'm sorry to say odds are she did not pass- only a tiny percentage of people have innacurate PVT with their official results
But I would still say she probably should wait for the official results

well thanks for the help everyone! I'll post back once she gets the results. Thanks again!

so the waiting game begins.. took the exam yesterday... 75 questions.. about 20 SATA questions.. no med calculations.. some meds I have never heard of.. I went back and saw that some of my educated guesses were right.. some were not.. I did the trick.. and it came up passing.... so hoping it is correct.. I need to get out of this house.. doing searches on "75 questions.. did I pass" is driving me crazy!! I also need to stop stalking the nursing board seeing if my name is on it.. lol..

I passed! The POP-UP worked for me and I would trust it! It definetely eased my mind Good luck to all of those who are yet to take the NCLEX or are waiting for results!

Thank God I am now officially an RN!!

well I just got back from my exam and I got this "good pop up." I am hoping that this means I passed. Unfortunately, due to the holiday, I wont know til Tuesday most likely.

    Waiting is the hardest part.

PVT works!!!! Got the good pop up about an hour after I took the exam on June 30, 2010 and saw my name as a licensed RN on Florida BON website!

Please, if you are worried about the nclex, PRAY PRAY PRAY to God. Glory to His name because He is the only one who got me through this......Trust and believe in Him!!!

Also, if this helps, I mainly used Davis 2010 NCLEX review book to study for NCLEX. I did not want to pay for Kaplan so I bought this book instead and I loved it Honestly, the Davis questions are really hard and I rarely scored above 60-65% on practice tests/quizzes, but it really did help me.....

And one more thing, to all my discouraged students and Grad nurses out there, you CAN and WILL accomplish this mountain!!! I was by all means not the best nursing student.....so dont be hard on yourself!
