NCLEX Today - Stopped at 75

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here! :-) I just took the NCLEX this morning, and the computer shut down after 75 questions. I'm scared to death!!! I feel like I guessed at most of the questions and I have the most awful feeling that I failed!! I'm sooooo sick to my stomach right now. What are the chances of passing at only 75 questions?? I wanted more questions to "redeem" myself! Help!! :-)

I heard the odds of passing are somewhere around 99%. :)

Good luck to you.

Read some of the other posts, and you will realize that your feelings are common.

Most people feel they failed, and many of those find out they passed.

Also, numbers do not mean anything.

Try not to think about it too much. (Easier said then done, I know.) :)

Best wishes, and welcome to AllNurses.com! :)

Did you ever find out if you passed or not?

My friend took her boards this summer and the exact thing happened to her....ie shutting off after 75 questions. From what I've heard, this is a good sign-if you are not doing well, they continue to ask you questions and it would shut off at a later time. She was a wreck for a whole week and was in our nurse educator's office each day crying because she insisted she failed. The nurse educator actually pleaded with me not to do the same when its my turn!:chuckle I will most likely do the same exact thing! Good Luck..I'm sure you passed though. Whoops..I mean, CONGRATS!!!! I posted before I read your update:imbar
