Dear Nurses,

I just wanted to know what are the most common or most important disorders from each system and medications to study for the NCLEX and any other tips would be appreciated.

I will be taking my NCLEX in about couple of months!

Thanks

Mine made no sense at all and asked about a lot of medications and diseases I'd never heard of. You will have different questions and you'll find out what they are when you take the test. Good luck!

Understand delegation, patient teaching and don't "do nothing." Which answer is MOST correct? I suggest a Kaplan review. Good luck

When choosing what to do first, always choose Assess!

Get your prioritization frameworks down pat:

Mazlow, ABC, Nursing Process, etc. , what is going to kill you first.

Thanks

Thanks for your help!

Hi there,

Try not to focus too much on disorders or content.

The most important thing to know really well is priority and delegation, and your drugs. I failed the NCLEX focusing too much on disorders and diseases etc... and I only had only one or two disorders. I would say that the NCLEX is a good 75% priority questions, with the remaining percentage being SATA,and pharm.

Good Luck!!'

I felt the same about mine.
