NCLEX in 3 days & I am beyond nervous!!

Published

My original plan was to take the exam today but I didn't feel as if I was ready so I rescheduled it for this Friday. I'm so nervous!! I've been using Kaplan, PDA, and Saunders (a little bit).

My QT scores are:

QT1 56%

QT2 60%

QT3 55%

QT4 54%

QT5 60%

QT6 56%

QT7 59%

QB 57% w/ 71% completed...I plan to do more by the Wednesday.

My PDA scores are waaay better than my Kaplan scores, scoring anywhere from 65-80%.

I don't want to be the person that reschedules every week because I allowed my anxiety to take over and then the content is no longer as fresh. I plan to take the Readiness Test on Wednesday. I've gone over content that I couldn't remember or didn't do well in, using the Saunders book for a brief refresher and practicing their questions. The only thing is that Saunders is sooo much easier. I don't know what to do...I'm so nervous. Any advice, tips, and/or encouragement is greatly appreciated.

I'm so tempted to reschedule again but then I feel as if I'll never be "ready".[/quote']

Same! But I'm not rescheduling! Like you said we are never going to feel ready so we just need to do it :)

I agree :-D

Let us know how you do on NCLEX!

How did you have test scores for PDA? Or are you just saying you got more right than wrong on the different sections of questions?

I counted how many I got wrong out of the # of questions in each question...

whats PDA?

hey I already scheduled my NCLEX date and I wanted it sooner date but everything was gone. Do yall know if they open up more dates or if we can change our date without paying for free?

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Dates appear all the time when people cancel. All you can do is keep checking. As far as I am aware there are no fees for changing dates but I do believe there is a 24 hour time frame, so if you try and it is less than 24 hours hours to change or cancel there is a fee

You can reschedule all you want (later and sooner dates).

The only restrictions are (taken directly from the ATT)

1. Tests scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday you must cancel at LEAST 24 business hours from your test day and time.

2 Tests scheduled for Saturday, Sunday or Monday, must cancel by Friday 24 business hours before appointment.

I changed mine 3 times (moving the date up closer and closer as I found open dates/times). The only one I could not reschedule was the one I made at 830am the day before the test which was for an 8am time slot. If I did have to change it I would lose the money paid and I would have to reapply with the State BON and PearsonVue again, as well as pay the fees to each place.

Sooo I just took my readiness test from Kaplan and my score was 67.22%. Today has been a great day in regards to studying. I feel soooo much better after that score and just with my test-taking skills, in general. Thank you all for your help and encouragement!

Good luck tomorrow! and update us on how you did :)

I just tried the PVT and it says, "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time". I'm still going to do the quick results when it hits 48h and continue to check the BON's website. I'm sooo nervous and I can't believe it because I felt like I did horrible. I had AT LEAST 20 SATA!!!!
