Hey all. I am an Irish nurse. Iam qualified with six years and have worked as a RN in Ireland and Australia. I have failed the NCLEX twice. I answered 265 Qs the first time and 75 the second time. I now need to take a NCLEX course to be able to sit fot a third time. Can anyone reccommend a course that will help me. I feel like im banging my head off a brick wall. I feel like im getting worse at the NCLEX. I really want to start nursing in the states A.S.A.P. Any info will be a help. Thanks. x:banghead:

Welcome
Check out the NCLEX forum. Which BON are you with as usually it is failed 3 times before having to do courses? Also with retrogression there is no way you can get to the USA ASAP, probably looking at 2+ years
Will check that out. Thanks. Im with Vermont. Already living here and have work permit so the NCLEX is the only thing that is holding things up.
Suzanne has a great program check it out. Will move this to the NCLEX forum as more to do with that exam than immigration

Hi Dofarel, we're on the same boat. I'm also an international graduate and failed twice and also with Vermont state. I tried Kaplan review before I had my 2nd try but it didnt work for me. I'll have to aks them if I am eligible for a 50% discount since I didnt make it.

Contact the VT BON before you do a thing, they are quite specific in the courses that they require that you complete before you will be able to get the ATT to sit for the exam again.
I will be more than willing to help you, but you need to follow first what they want for you to do.
Thank you so much Suzanne!
Yes, I will do contact VT BON...
