hi...whenever i feel stressed out..i come to this site and read posts and feel better and realize that i am not the only one struggling with the NCLEX..so many people are....so i am in doubt now..because i will be testing soon for the second time and feeling anxiety, nauseated and it is the worse feeling ever..i took my nclex in august and did not pass..i was heartbroken..and i am afraid to try for it again...i studied with hurst and uworld only before and this time i am using hurst again..uworld and kaplan qbank..i finished the uworld and scored 60% with high chances of passing on the first assessment and then i bought just the kaplan qbank..my scores were low when i started in the 30's..but now i am scoring between 55-60's so my question is that should i take my exam or change my date?? testing in about a week...any advice would be helpful..thank you...

pkg1,
Do you feel comfortable taking your test and the current date? Do you feel you've studied enough? Are you confident in yourself? Those are a few questions to ask yourself, but do not be discouraged, I know many nurses who have failed the NCLEX not once, not twice, but on the third time they passed, so give yourself some slack, it's a hard test, and a nerve wracking one considering you need to pass it to become an RN. Don't put yourself in the mindset that you're going to fail, keep your hopes up, and keel studying. You will do fine!
I hope a moderator comes and moves this post to the NCLEX forum to get more responses.
yes..i do feel comfortable..but a little scared to take it on my current date..i am tired of studying now..i cannot stand to do anymore questions...i do feel like i have the ability to answer any questions..but i am doubting myself..and i feel the more nearer i get to test date..the more i am forgetting..

Omg this is how I feel. I test on April 10th and I'm not too confident bc I always feel like I'm forgetting. This will be my third attempt. I'm so tired of doing questions. It's like the more I do it just gives me more anxiety. I hope we pass.
I understand the stress. I would say if you're comfortable taking the test, go for it!
exactlyyy...i just feel soooo anxious...like i wont know anything during the exam..when i went the first time..maybe bcz i was soo nervous..i thought that the questions were worded differently..that it was no where like uworld..did u feel that too?? how do we overcome the vagueness of the questions..like they are so straight to the point but confusing...and yess we will pass..goodluck to uu
yeaa i am going to practice questions till then and if i dont feel ready i will see...any advice..like what should i focus on most important right noww..

They say scores above 60s is the ideal percentage. But don't freak out, I recently passed my test with Kaplan and I averaged 55-60 in the qbank! From my NCLEX experience, all I can say is you can never truly be ready for this test. If you've been doing questions and reviewing all your answers, I'm sure you'll pass.
Best of luck, you can do it!
