They say scores above 60s is the ideal percentage. But don't freak out, I recently passed my test with Kaplan and I averaged 55-60 in the qbank! From my NCLEX experience, all I can say is you can never truly be ready for this test. If you've been doing questions and reviewing all your answers, I'm sure you'll pass. Best of luck, you can do it!
In addition to Saunders, I've heard Hurst is also content based. Kaplan would be best in analyzing the questions NCLEX gives you. UWorld is similar to Kaplan (and cheaper) as well as gives more detailed explanations. I personally think if you're wanting to get a little bit of both, to check out NCSBN. This site is created by those who make the NCLEX!
Hello! I'm new to the site and told myself once I pass, I'd help anyone as much as possible. The NCLEX truly is a test that causes all sorts of anxiety so I totally know how you feel. Although I'm from Oregon I took my test 3/16 and got my results 3/20. This was my FIFTH attempt at this test in which I ended up with 265 questions! Maybe sometimes it takes a little extra time to double check a test? I also do recommend getting quick results if your state offers it. I know from previous experience I wouldn't hear anything and even got my CPR a week later. Best of luck, hope this helps!
