NCC Spring 2021 NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Hi Everyone, I am a Liberal Arts student at NCC right now and interested in "Change of Program" to Nursing for Spring 2021. I have almost all the Pre-reqs done with 3.7 GPA. Only thing I worry about at this moment is the TEAS Exam. I did not take the TEAS yet and due to the COVID-19, there's no any test date available in my area. Do you guys know if they would consider my application without the TEAS? Please let me know if you know anything about this situation. Thank you

Darn.  I was hoping to go right to 101.  Anyone else planning on taking Society and Aging (if it’s offered and open) this Spring to lighten the load for Fall?

I was thinking the same since they mentioned that it can be taken with or before nur101

I was also thinking about taking that Western Civ class, so then all I have left are nursing classes and Pharmacology. 

 

Also- I wonder how long it takes to get the log in info for ESC.

I applied the last two semesters & didn’t get in & got in for this semester. Do not give up!

You need to e-mail ESC your transcripts so they can do a review & determine if you are exempt from taking it again.

Yup!! I just realized from the looks of the doc and how the curriculum is structured.. I may have problems remaining a full time student. Hmmm. I hate to jeopardize my financial aid

Hey guys! I’m on the day program. Does anyone have an info on how we can register through empire for history and aging and society? Or do we have to wait until Wednesday to find out how

Anyone try to register for empire classes yet? I just received an email about our username and to make a password. So I logged on to see if we could register for those 2 Empire courses we need, but it keeps telling me I’m not authorized to open the page yet. just wondering if it’s the same for everyone else.

I didn’t get an email yet. I believe they said we could register in January.

I didn’t get an email yet!  On the zoom call on Wednesday, they did say we wouldn’t be able to register until January.

I received the email not through the nassau email but from my regular email. I was able to login but that’s about it.
