NCC Spring 2021 NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Hi Everyone, I am a Liberal Arts student at NCC right now and interested in "Change of Program" to Nursing for Spring 2021. I have almost all the Pre-reqs done with 3.7 GPA. Only thing I worry about at this moment is the TEAS Exam. I did not take the TEAS yet and due to the COVID-19, there's no any test date available in my area. Do you guys know if they would consider my application without the TEAS? Please let me know if you know anything about this situation. Thank you

Hey guys! Yes I believe we have to take a history and another class through Empire once we get accepted.

Hi all, I emailed the nursing dept last week and they never replied as to when acceptance emails would go out and I also wanted to know if rejection emails would go out as well.

They do send rejection emails. I believe they go out at the same time as acceptance emails but I’m not 100% sure on that one

Thank you kellyann, just a waiting game I guess. Hopefully we will know before thanksgiving. Till then I’ll be constantly checking my emails just like everyone else.

No problem! I’m with ya on that. The amount of times a day I check my email is getting a little concerning haha. Hoping for good news for all of us!

Has anyone checked their registration on the ncc portal. I heard it may show the change to nursing. but mine is the same ??

Stupid question but where would you see that when you log in to the portal?

@KellyAnn when you log in and go to student records you can select registration status. I read that it changes before the letters are send out. But im not 100% sure

Im a little confused. How do you get to student records? I logged into myNCC and I only see MyRecords on left side. I click on it and it only gives me official or unofficial transcript as options.

Hi everyone, I check my registration on NCC portal several times a day and same goes for my emails. Mine is still the same.
