I'm taking the plunge and sitting for the NBCSN School Nurse Certification Exam tomorrow at 8 AM!
Who has taken it this testing window, or in the past few years?? Curious if you felt prepared? I SHOULD pass with no issue...but....gah!
I'm nervous but as ready as I'm ever going to be at this stage of the game. I joined the group on the NASN page (like 5 x LOL!!) and took the practice exams. Did lots of review, bought the review book, used study cards.
I'm going to tonight to the city where there is a testing center, will have dinner with a friend and only 15 minutes from the test site vs 45 drive into the city...Gotta use those Marriott points right?? I even booked a reservation for the hot tub tonight!!
It was hard! Parts I knew, easy peasy. I was familiar with all the content but the questions were nuanced. Hard to explain. Often 2 very reasonable answers...others really took reading the question...I have no idea! I'm just glad it's over! Can't do anything about it now!

The real question is--how much did they expect you to know about testing the air quality? ? That's the stuff in the books that I've never even considered doing in real life.

Yes this exactly!! Really hard to explain but felt very different than what I was prepared for. Maybe a bunch of questions were for beta testing and will get thrown out.

I bet you did amazing! I took it 3 years ago and I felt like the NCLEX was easier than this test! I agree that the questions felt a bit nuanced. The wait is the worst. Hang in there and keep us posted so we can celebrate with you.
