Navy NCP FY2015 Applicants

Hello all! I have been avidly following previous topics about the NCP program and I wanted to start one for those of us who have recently submitted a kit for the NCP program for FY2015. I'm in the Chicago area and my kit is currently being combed over by a processor then will be shipped out for the boards- which aren't convening until Novemeber (according to my recruiter), since they wanted to have more applicants. Hopefully this will be an area to calm nerves and answer questions. Good luck to all who apply, or are thinking of applying!

I was too. Nope. I left a message on my processor's cell- no return. I texted my recruiter- no return. Both VERY out of character. Hopefully we will hear first thing next week

I talked to my recruiter, and it looks like we'll hear results within the next 2 weeks!

Kalyab- did your recruiter say we would hear by phone or mail?

That wasn't specified, but I think a phone call from our recruiters is likely! If not a phone call, an email. Roughly 100 applications are at the board.

100 applicants.... That's not a lot if they're going to take 50-60 people. Hopefully that gives us a better chance!

Didn't the board already convene mid November? I thought the selections were already made and we are just awaiting the results?

Hey Everyone,

I submitted my kit just in time for the Nov board and it was luckily accepted right away without any errors or setbacks. I was told today by a fellow applicant and student at my school that she got a call from her recruiter last week maybe a day or two before Thanksgiving. Unfortunately she did not get in but what I'm thinking here is that they've definitely started narrowing it down and are maybe letting people know as they make their decisions? I'm kind of confused at this point though because i got in touch with my recruiter today who said that she's certain that no results had been released as of this afternoon. Not really sure what to believe here! Anyone else hearing otherwise?

Interesting. Maybe your friend misunderstood and her application was kicked back bc it wasn't complete...? Did your recruiter say when we should hear? I haven't heard anything from my processor or recruiter
