Hey everyone. I thought I'd see if anyone else on here is applying to NAU's accelerated BSN program this application cycle. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who is!

@kierstm

Go to your main Typhon page and you should see modify account information on the right. Go there and you will upload your files on the bottom right where it says additional supporting documents.

I got the total charges for summer posted on my account today.

Ya, also got the charges. I'm guessing my estimations don't account for the fees correctly or something so I'm holding my breath for the 800 dollar nursing school fee that isn't accounted for in the charges and it's a lot less than I thought it would be. If it doesn't ever get tacked on the woohoo! Have another scheduled counselling session for next week as I will ask if financial aid packaging is complete or if there is more coming in late April.

Do any of you know what you are going to do for your stethoscope? I can't decide between the Littman S.E II Lightweight and the Littman Classsic III

@ama397

I would recommended the littman III! Several people in my program started out with really cheap — like $20 — stethoscopes and upgraded by the end haha. The quality of the stethoscope makes a huge difference. I have the littman cardiology IV and love it, but going above the III isn’t really necessary haha. ?

Went with an mdf er premier cuz I'm a contrarian lol

I had a Littman lightweight and I decided to upgrade to the cardiology. With the classic I might not have made the same decision but I’m so happy I did! I agree with @ACAZ92. The cardiology isn’t necessary but it’s super nice! Littman really is the best and you won’t see much of anything else being used by nurses. I think I was with one nurse who had something other than a Littman.

@ACAZ92 & @periodicgeek Thanks for the input! You guys convinced me, I just ordered the classic III!

Hi there!

I am sure you all obtained the orientation announcement. I am a bit confused as it say bring “the first day class material”. Do they refer to PowerPoints or handouts? If so, where do we access those?

Im pretty sure it just means bring a pen and pencil with some paper. Bring the signed copy of the handbook policy contract for sure though as that is going to be "due".

Hi! I recently signed a year lease at Fremont Station from Aug 2019-2020. I am interested in transferring my lease as I will be staying in the Phoenix area for nursing school. I will be giving an extra $500 to that student who will take my lease for this upcoming school year. For more details text me at+16025033908. Thanks
