This is my first post on this forum so I'm not too familiar with how all this works but hopefully I'll be able to figure it out along the way.
Anyways,
I applied to the July application time for COHORT 45 in SD Nursing Program.
I wanted to know if anyone else has applied to this month.
If you don't mind, could you also share what your GPA and TEAS score as well?
I'm super, duper nervous.
My GPA is just mediocre at 3.55. I feel like this is probably a lot lower than the average that will be applying in July.
I also have yet to take the TEAS yet but I feel like I'm just not prepared.
Any suggestions on how to study for the TEAS besides the ATI V.5 study manual for TEAS? I feel like this in itself is not enough to prepare me for the test.
If you are already part of the nursing program or know the information, could you also tell me about when the assigned test date would be after the application deadline date?
Also, any suggestions and or tips on writing the essay?

Wow! Cohort 45!? Graduate of cohort 21. Good luck to all who got in. I remember the process and how stressed I was then. Just a small tip for you guys...form multiple study groups if you like but make them small. I'd say a group of 4-6 is cool. Keeps you motivated studying with a consistent group.
I took my TEAS and wrote the proctored essay today, and I am mentally drained. A tip for the essay is to time yourself writing. I haven't had to write a timed essay in a long time so it was pretty nerve racking. I wish I would have taken the TEAS sooner because it was a long day doing both in one sitting. I am applying with a 4.0 GPA for math and science, and got a 90 on my TEAS. I studied using the ATI manual, and i feel like its really all you should need if you have taken all your pre-requisite courses. Good luck to everyone who applied.
