Hello everyone!

This is my first post on this forum so I'm not too familiar with how all this works but hopefully I'll be able to figure it out along the way.

Anyways,

I applied to the July application time for COHORT 45 in SD Nursing Program.

I wanted to know if anyone else has applied to this month.

If you don't mind, could you also share what your GPA and TEAS score as well?

I'm super, duper nervous.

My GPA is just mediocre at 3.55. I feel like this is probably a lot lower than the average that will be applying in July.

I also have yet to take the TEAS yet but I feel like I'm just not prepared.

Any suggestions on how to study for the TEAS besides the ATI V.5 study manual for TEAS? I feel like this in itself is not enough to prepare me for the test.

If you are already part of the nursing program or know the information, could you also tell me about when the assigned test date would be after the application deadline date?

Also, any suggestions and or tips on writing the essay?

Awesome how do you like the fast pace ?.

The first class is not as intense as I think the rest of the program is but the fast pace part of it helps you not get board cause you always have something you could do

I was bummed that I did not do good in my teas exam this month. I studied for almost 2 months. Any idea how many times can we take the teas in a year? I'm reading all your posts and I'm impress you all get higher score. I got 67 %

From what I understood when I applied you can submit one score per application period so if you took that place somewhere other than NU you could take it again at the NU site with the rest of the applicants.

I don't think this was covered in this thread, but since most have you already taken the TEAS through NU I have a question for you... I submitted my application two weeks ago, and haven't received any communication back from NU on a test date for either the Essay or TEAS. How long did it take you to hear back? I'm assuming I'll be taking version V since the test version won't change until august I believe. The last month they take applications for is in July. I'm just worried about buying the TEAS prep and wasting money on an older version.
