I'm actually down in Mission Valley. The drive to classes will be kinda long, but I'm hoping the proximity to hospitals will be good. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone at orientation!

Hello everyone of Cohort 24!

I have exchanged posts with a few of you, and was looking forward to meeting you all soon.

However, just last week I was accepted to APU's nursing program for next Spring.

Well, there are three main factors that are making me decide to attend Azusa. First, it is a 15-month program (but very intense), and even though it starts in January, I will still graduate earlier than if I go to NU; second, it is in Mission Valley (I live in Chula Vista); and third, it is over 5 thousand dollars LESS expensive than National University.

Just in case you guys do not find a "Elisbrasilia" (Brazilian girl) in your class, you will know what happened. Arhhh... And I have done everything already for Orientation. Plus going through test, essay, waiting, anxiety was not fun!

But, thanks, everyone, ExPharmaGirl, for all the advice, and comments. I really appreciated them!

National University is a great school. I enjoyed the time I spent there and the friends I made. But, independent of what school we go, it is our own responsibility the type of professional we will be, right?

Bubbles-Yes I am from PQ but my husband and I actually live in La Jolla right now. Thanks for all the info on the books! I think all I have left is the drug screening also and I am trying to figure out what kind of uniform I want to order. Not going to lie...I am getting kind of nervous for school to start! I am use to being in mommy mode right now and I'm hoping it won't take too long to get back into school mode. I was at my husband's hospital (Balboa) the other day and I saw a bunch of NU nursing students...pretty cool =]

How do you guys feel about meeting up before orientation to get to know each other???

I think it's a great idea to meet before orientation! What did you have in mind? I live in Murrieta, but it sounds like most everyone lives in San Diego, so I would be happy to drive down.

Hi Everyone,

I know this is the board for National SD but I cant seem to find anyone who applyed for the Los Angeles Location. I was just accepted into their oct. start cohort. Is anyone planning on working. It seems like most people say on this thread that its too hard. Im still trying to decide what to do.
