Hi Everyone! I wanted to start this Thread since there wasn't one yet for this Cohort.

I am currently applying to this cohort and this will be my first attempt.

Math/Science GPA: 3.9

TEAS: 82.7% (this was already my 3rd retake)

From reading other cohorts stats, don't really feel confident in my scores. But I will hope for the best. I also have 2 years of LVN experience and 3 years of CNA experience.

Good luck to everyone who as also applied! ?

Hi there!

I am applying to cohort 71, I got listed as an alternate position on cohort 69 but unfortunately was not accepted. I retook Physiology to raise my GPA. I have a 3.9 and my TEAS is at an 88%. I am going to try and raise my TEAS score before next month! I have 200 hours of volunteering.

I am very hopeful on this next round, good luck to everyone!

I just applied with a 3.8 GPA and 81.3% TEAS score. I wanted to retake my TEAS for a higher score but couldn't make it happen before the deadline. I also have no experience so not feeling too hopeful ?

Best of luck to you all! *crossing fingers*

Hi Everyone,

I am applying to this cohort with minimal experience, I did my CNA course and clinicals October 2021 and took the test but am still waiting to recieve my license so I haven't been able to start working.

GPA: 3.69

TEAS: 95.3

I didn't get accepted into cohort 69 where my GPA and TEAS was 3.67 and 88.7, I retook one lab class but didn't have enough time to do the second one so I instead spent time working to raise my TEAS score. Good Luck to everyone!

Has anyone gotten their email for the interviews yet? Kinda weird we're getting them this late.

Nothing yet :(

They told me we should all get emails by Friday. I keep compulsively checking. This is my first time applying so I’m not sure if we get the email at our nu email or our regular email address.
I was also on the impression that general entry and post bachelors was different and they took 40 of each and they don’t. We are all on the same pool. No wonder why is so hard and competitive ?
I hope we all get an interview and accepted! Praying hard!!!

When I  applied to cohort 69 we got our emailed interview dates 10 days after the application deadline, which would have been today for this cohort. The email came to my NU email last time.

Thanks! Well at least none of us have gotten it so they might just be delayed. Maybe tomorrow is the day! From your previous experience, was the interview hard? I have friends that had 4.0 GPA and TEAS in the 90s and didn’t get accepted. And others with less than 3.0 GPA that got accepted. So I wonder why that is, can we really mess up the interview that much? I haven’t slept well in days overthinking the whole thing ?

I haven't heard of anyone getting in with less than a 3.0, last time I applied I had a 3.67 and 88.7 and I asked them for the score breakdown and they don't release the interview stats but my GPA and TEAS were right at the average almost exactly down to the decimal so it's hard to think that even one person got accepted with a 3.0 bc you would be able to tell. I thought I did really good on my interview, but didn't even get an alternate so there's really no telling. Especially because they say healthcare experience doesn't matter. Also, did your friend really have all A+'s? Props to them, I don't know howwww ppl do that haha. I got mostly A-'s which is why my GPA is almost right at 3.7 :,)
