Super late to the game, but I applied last cohort for 5N Memorial and was chosen as an alternate and got rejected. Applied to the same unit for this cohort and still waiting for an interview. My application still says under consideration. I'm hoping I hear something soon. Good luck to everyone, fingers crossed!

Hi everyone! Wanted to join this thread because I also applied as an Internal for the program. I'm currently working as an LVN at SRS. I also did work as a Float CNA for 3 years prior to working as an LVN. My first choice was Sharp Memorial 5N and second choice was Sharp Grossmont Women's Acute Care/Women's Observation. My application did switch to Sharp Memorial and has the hiring manager listed, but still under consideration. I have not received an email regarding an interview yet. Hoping to hear back soon. Fingers crossed!

Hey! Im using NSO (Nurse Service Organization). I believe it’s either $26 or $27 a year for “Registered Nurse Student” it covers the minimum amount that we need for the program.

The person who interviewed me pulled up my resume so she didn’t really ask about my experience since it already on there. Nothing about diversity. I was asked who Inspired me to be a nurse, if I had difficulty with a class/professor how would I approach it, if I had a support system, how I managed working full time and going to school, and just scenario based questions based on my LVN experience. I joined the call about 15 minutes early, so it probably lasted about 20 minutes. I’m just hoping for the best and I answered as best I could haha. ??

I feel like I over prepared for the interview. Maybe like 2 out of the several questions I practiced were asked. Since I did have LVN experience, most of the questions were catered to that. Let’s just hope for the best, we prepared as much as we could!

Just got my email! 3.9 GPA and 82.7 on the TEAS. Super nervous for the interview. But we got this!!

Hi Everyone! I wanted to start this Thread since there wasn't one yet for this Cohort. I am currently applying to this cohort and this will be my first attempt. Math/Science GPA: 3.9 TEAS: 82.7% (this was already my 3rd retake) From reading other cohorts stats, don't really feel confident in my scores. But I will hope for the best. I also have 2 years of LVN experience and 3 years of CNA experience. Good luck to everyone who as also applied! ?
