UCSD New Grad Residency March 2026
That's amazing! Do you mind me asking what experience you have/if you have UCSD experience? All of my apps still say "application received" and not sure to still remain hopeful or not LOL

are they updates that you're passed on to the hiring managers or that others are more competitive?

I had mine today too. Mine was about 15 min as well and they hit me harddd with patient scenario questions right away ? it caught me so off guard expecting more "describe a time" questions. But overall I feel good about it! Crossing fingers for the both of us!

@444Kea Yeah she asked me the status quo questions I've seen most commonly. did they ask at the end if you had any questions? I tried to open the dialogue for that but I don't know if she was running behind or something.

I waited about 10 minutes past my interview time and the interview itself lasted a little over 10 minutes. Shocked at how fast it was but she was so nice. Just now freaking if it being short is a good thing or a bad thing ?

National University Cohort 67 San Diego
Hi Cohort 67! I just applied to Cohort 71 and have an interview 6/15, woo! I'm coming here because I am curious if anyone of you got in to your Cohort with no med experience? I feel like everyone applying has some and I am scared that that will be my deal breaker. I have TONS of customer service experience and have been a licensed esthetician for 9 years, working mostly in holistic esthetics. I feel like being an esthetician, I have a good amount of experience and knowledge, but not sure they'd look at it that way? I do have 15 hours volunteering at a Retirement Community, but that's back from 2016 so not even sure if that'd be worth it?? My stats are 3.8 and 81.3% - second time applying, first time getting an interview! Thanks in advance for any help/advice!
