  1. Apply outside of San Diego County, expanding further out will help you land something faster. Once your in, your in! And can move to your desired hospital a short while later, it's just the beginning not the end of the story. Also, did you have a career center at your college? They can usually give you the best advice on how to ensure your resume looks good. I had an interview, but was hired at another great hospital. I made sure all my clinical hours was written on my resume along with my certifications, college degrees, and also employment (just three). I also added in where I volunteered. Hang in there!
  2. Yeah I think it means you're out. Your app won't move anymore. I read it means they either canceled it or filled the position. My trauma stepdown (surgical acute) says closed, one says in process and two others say new.
  3. Interviews are starting mid Sept. (Also, they do have a night shift differential of $4+ so I was wrong on that with last time I commented about the hospitals).
  4. Oct 13th is what I saw on their website
  5. Are you able to see how you're rated if you don't get selected?
  6. Got it. Going to get it. Thanks! ?
  7. Do you guys have your NRP cert? Just curious. I thought about getting it myself since I did a preceptorship in L&D at Kaiser, but with all the certs I already have just seems like it's just more money flying out the window, including a Bachelor degree to just land a position.
  8. Did you get your answers? I know they start you at $47.20. There is no night shift or weekend differential. Their residency is 13 weeks. California has regulations on patient ratios so I'm sure it's followed by that depending on the unit you would start in. PCU should be like 1:3 or 1:4. There are reviews on it on a lot of different platforms. You could even put it into chat gpt or read reviews on Glassdoor.
  9. Yes he does! Maybe you'll hear back! I read the managers text but there was no date or time specifics on it. I was hopeful for myself to get in but timing was off- something else must be meant for me even though I'm bummed. I do know two candidates rolled over from last cohort due to not having as many spots than. Regardless, I wish you the best of luck and I hope you hear back soon with good news! There are 6 total they were hiring.
  10. Oh that is good to know. ? Thanks, I am trying my best. It's rough out here!
  11. Just ER for Poway. I know it is, and I am very bummed as I applied there too.
  12. ER positions for Poway are already finished with interviews and all candidates are hired (inside source from friend who works there).
  13. Did anyone get the glitch email saying I tried to reach you but was unsuccessful from Rancho Springs for ER new grad position?
  14. Scripps sends an email if you were not selected for the cohort. They start their interviewing process next week thru August. Best of luck!
  15. I got an email for Trauma step down saying the position was filled or canceled as well as for med-surg days. =/
