  1. I have not heard anything and my application still says under review
  2. Hi! im from SD and just heard about this hospital. I tried looking on website for new grad jobs and didn't see any. I also could not find much information on their new grad program other than an article that was published 2 years ago. Does anyone have more information on this hospitals new grad process? Did I miss the application date?
  3. Were you an internal? Congrats!
  4. Just applied, good luck to everyone! Lets keep each other updated!

  6. My thoughts exactly!
  7. I definitely agree that connections are everything, but howww do you make those connections?
  8. This makes me so nervous!! Which units were you applying for?
  9. For those of you who were hired, do you mind sharing whats on your application that makes you a competitive candidate? Im planning on applying for the august start date and want to be doing whatever I need now to stand out. I have my ACLS, BLS, NIHSS and working on PALS and NRP certifications. I was a CNA for 3 years at sharp memorial in oncology. I am doing an externship at a hospital in Phoenix while finishing my last semester of nursing school. I am worried that because I didn't go to school in San Diego I won't have the same connections that those who did clinicals at scripps might have. Im most interested in the ED, however im thinking it might be easier to get into telemetry since this is where im doing my externship so I have some experience in this unit. Is there any other certifications I should be trying to get for ED or Tele? Thank you in advanced!

  14. For those of you who got accepted into the program do you mind sharing some information about your resume or prior experience? Im trying to figure out how to make myself a competitive application for the Summer cohort!
  15. Congratulations!! May I ask what you believe made you standout in terms of your resume? Did you have peds experience, externship, or hospital experience? Was it your first time applying? Did you do clinicals at this hospital/unit during nursing school?
