National University Cohort 67 San Diego

Published

Hello Pre-Nursing Students!

Despite Cohort 67 being quite a bit away, I figure I start up a thread early for those of us that are eager.

I plan on applying for the May 2021 deadline. I just knocked out BST 322 and am taking ILR 260 with NU this next coming month!

I just took the TEAS and came out with a 85.3!

Please feel free to share your stats: GPA, TEAS, work experience, second degree (if any).

For those of us who already made it through and ended up on this thread, any insight would be awesome on what to expect!

Hey everyone! My stats are 3.61 GPA and 93 TEAS. I have 9 years customer service experience and 1 year CNA experience. Good luck to you all! I feel like I've been waiting forever to apply to National, I know last cohort was craazy competitive.

Finally applied!

GPA 4.0

TEAS 94.7%
2 yrs and 9 months of experience in healthcare

Specializes in Ortho, PCU, ICU, Trauma, M/S.

Hey everyone!! How are all ya'll doing with applying to this cohort? Deadline is Friday! AHHHHHH.

I'll be applying with a 3.6 and 90 TEAS. ???

I have the same stats but was denied. I hope this cohort will be not so competitive.

Did you get to interview?

Yes, but I remember that during my interview, one of the ladies said that decisions were made, and it's only the interview.

that doesn’t make any sense that they would make the final decisions before interviews. That’s so weird

I agree. Maybe she meant it in a different way. I’m sure they made the final decisions after the interviews.

Exactly. Has to be. There were several people with less points (TEAS + GPA) who got in last cohort so the interviewing points are definitely a major part of their decision.

Specializes in Allied Health/pre-nursing student.

Hello there,

How are GPA and TEAS score calculated?

WOW! Congrats on those awesome stats. You are for sure getting in! Did you apply to state schools also?

I wonder how many people applied this cohort! Last cohort was the most applicants of all time, according to Elizabeth from the National nursing zoom meeting.

I was wondering this too! I hope this cohort isn’t as insane. I’m sitting at a 3.72 GPA and TEAS 88.7 and so dang nervous.
